Have you dusted today?

I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone, and I regret spending the money I did on it. The powder is so fine, it just poofs everywhere when trying to handle it. It doesn't taste very good, and I'm just all-around disappointed in it.

Use

Sweet snow is a flavored, edible body powder. You can sprinkle some on yourself and have your partner lick it off, or put it on your partner to lick. You can even use it to mark the "favorite" parts you want licked. I don't advise putting it on genitals, though. You also get a feather duster, which is very cheaply made. I really did like the feather duster; it was a fun tickle tool, but it broke the first time I was using it--the small handle fell off and the feathers starting splitting off of it.

Sweet snow is made of modified starch, corn starch, aspartame, natural and/or artificial flavor, and may also contain honey. Unless you have a bad reaction to any of these ingredients, I would think just about anyone who can stand it can use it.

I got the cherry flavor, and it reminds me of the taste of cherry Tums. This sweet snow is one big miss. It is made with a corn starch base, and it has the texture of corn starch, of course. The powder is so fine that it's, literally, dust. Just opening the package made a mess because it poofs out, no matter how careful you are.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

This edible body powder is VERY fine--it has the consistency of dust. It is smooth and nice feeling; I didn't think it was sticky at all. The dust comes in a plastic baggie, which is impossible to pour and not dump out. I got a little creative with it and put some in a seasoning shaker for better control. It doesn't stay where you dust it out, so you or your partner do have to stay relatively still unless you rub it around to make it into a thin layer.

The feathers are very soft, and I really loved them. I wish the feather tickler wouldn't have broken; it was one of the best features of this buy.

Taste / Aroma

It does have a slightly sweet and unnaturally fruity smell to it, but nothing overbearing. The taste is gross to me; you can definitely tell it's made of corn starch. The cherry flavor is very unnatural tasting, like that of medicine (like Tums). The flavoring of Sweet Snow isn't overbearing either; it just isn't something I prefer to lick. It is sweet and starchy.

Performance

I would imagine the product lasts until you rub it in or lick it off. I got some on my hands (and the bed, and the table) and it seemed to come off easily. I didn't have to get up and wash it off my hands, I just rubbed it around, and it was fine. I hate how fine the powder is, though. It, literally, just floats in the air. You can't be careful enough to not make a mess with this body powder.

Packaging

I did love the package in which Sweet Snow came. It comes in a cute cardboard container with a metal lid. Inside is the feather duster and a silk baggie, which contains the messy dust. The powder is in a plastic, non-reusable baggie nestled inside the silk drawstring bag. The feathers have a plastic sleeve around them, and there are directions for fluffing them up if they are crinkled.

I really liked the outer container and the silk drawstring baggie. I put one of my other toys in the silk baggie, and I have the outer container sitting on my nightstand with some lube bottles in it. It is pretty discreet; there isn't any way to tell what it is or what it contained unless you pick it up and make a point to look. I wouldn't travel with any of these items, though; I would hate to have the powder break open and spill on my things.

Personal comments

I hate that I wasted money on this product. We did have a little fun with it, but the mess it created was not worth it.
Follow-up commentary
I ended up throwing the body powder in the trash; it was just more mess than fun. The feather duster went into the trash after it broke (upon the first time using it). But I did keep the cute container it all came in, and the silky bag!

I think sweet snow was a complete waste of money overall, and I didn't grow to like it at all.
