Let's start with why I got this in the first place. I have been following Hitachi tweets on Twitter and every user of the Hitachi usually follows with "Oh my god" or "Hells yeah!" Good alternative to Hitachi?

I had a rechargeable mini fairy wand, but last week it ended up breaking, and now I'm desperately looking for a similar type wand massager. I've looked at a couple, but I'd really like some input on which massager people are recommending. Thanks!

I have 3 wand massagers that I use at times. There are things I love and hate about all of them. The hitachi is the most powerful one, but it is so loud! The Wahl 2 speed is also great. It is the quietest and I love how rumbly the vibes are! But none of the attachments are quite right for me. If I could only have one wand I would get Inspire. It has a button that you press and release when the power is at your desired strength. In stead of just 2 speeds like the hitachi or the wahl you have control over how much power you want to use. The Inspire has a detachable silicone head. My complaints are that it gets hot after about 20 minutes, at at the higher speeds it gets pretty loud. Your toy was rechargable, but the wands I listed all plug in and have more power. Good luck with your replacement!

Yeah, the rechargeable wands tend to get really hot too, plus it would die after 20-30 minutes, so I needed to stay near an outlet at all times. Noise isn't really an issue for me (at least not right now). The one I had before had an adjustable wheel for vibration intensity, but to be honest, I always turned it all the way up and never changed it, so maybe I don't really need adjustable speeds.
I've never tried any of the detachable heads. Are they worth buying?

I have had both, and they are really both very good toys. The main difference really is that the Acuvibe is rechargeable and can be used cordless, while the Hitachi must plug in to work. Personally, I think that the Hitachi is slightly stronger, and it has definitely outlasted my Acuvibes - I have had two, and they both broke down after about six months or so.

The cord is 6 ft but in my bedroom, my outlets are on the other side of my nightstands and I could only get it to the edge of the bed. I have been using an extension cord with no issues.
As for squirting with this toy, I've only ever done it with the Jollies Curved attachment. I've rarely heard of people squirting with the hitachi (without prior squirting experience) unless they have an attachment.
I second TitsMcScandal. Hitachi will bring most women to orgasm but I don't think to squirting. I can squirt but need something more then the Hitachi, like a G spot toy or better yet a G spot vibe.
