Kama Sutra’s Sweet Honeysuckle Honey Dust|Honey dust Powder by KamaSutra is an excellent product that is just as functional as it is pleasure-enhancing. The base is cornstarch which is naturally absorbent and is often used as a safe and natural alternative to talcum or baby powder (talcum powder is made from talc, which may contain asbestos, a known human carcinogen that has been linked to ovarian cancer.) I have many customers who use Honey Dust for its absorbent properties alone, applying it under the arms, between the breasts, as well as between the thighs to absorb moisture and eliminate chafing. I use it to dust my sheets with, as it leaves them nice and dry in the morning, especially if you sweat a lot during the night.

Honey Dust is perhaps best known for its sensual properties and is made from powdered honey that has a sweet honeysuckle flavor, especially once it has absorbed into the skin. I do find that it leaves a perfumed after-taste that I don’t like, however, when licked off the skin directly after application. Powered honey is used in many cosmetics and has been used since the time of Cleopatra for its healing, anti-aging and moisturizing properties, so it excellent for the skin. It has a silky, fine texture and leaves the skin feeling soft and sweetly scented.

The Honey Dust is packaged in a large decorated canister and is enclosed in a satin pouch. It comes a large feather applicator that caresses the skin and it great for sensual tickle play, especially when using a blindfold. I prefer to use the honey dust as a daily personal product instead of deodorant or fragrance, because it leaves my skin so sweet and supple, while absorbing moisture and odors. I particularly like it because of its non-toxic and cosmetic qualities. I like it less as a sensual product (to dust on and lick off) because of the after-taste but the feather is light and sensual to play with against the skin. Overall, this is a quality product.

Great review!  Another product I also love, for all the reasons you stated, though I'm not as bothered by the flavor.  I find lovers to be pleasantly surprised by the flavor, since I taste like honey instead of a perfume factory! :)

I think it is the powder texture itself and not the flavor I dislike.  If it was a honey syrup I'd probably love it, but that would defeat the purpose!

True.  It does tend to be somewhat dry and cloying on the tongue.  That's why I REALLY love their massage cream as an all-over body cream.  Guys marvel in delight that I both smell AND taste good all over!  There's nothing like having a girl smell great, then taste like perfume.  Yuck!

So the after taste is like perfume?

Kinda like a slight perfume talc powder taste. If you've ever tasted talc.

I really enjoy using the honey dust with flavors...tangerines n creme sits on my nightstand...I have never had a problem with the taste. I have found that using the matching oils and lotions complete build up!
