Stella massage oil - oil discontinued by Luz de la Riva - review by freshbananas

While reading this review please note that I bought with the intent to use it as a moisturizer for my skin and not as massage oil.
I was attracted to this product originally because of the art work on the front and the natural ingredients. When I received it came inside of a white box with the same lovely water color woman on the box as the bottle. The box is recyclable and the bottle is about a quarter the size of of the box. The box offers a place setting for the bottle so it is secured in place and wont be damaged from shipping and packing. The bottle is made of glass and is fairly heavy (all together 6.0 full ounces). I love the way it looks on my perfume tray. The top is secure and stays in place with out worries.

Ingredients:
Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil, Coconut Oil, Sesame OIl, Shea Butter, Isopropyl Myristate, Fragrance.

You get a full 3.6 full ounces in the bottle so there isn't much there. I purchased the Wild Orchid and Marrakesh scents for myself. The oil absorbs fairly quickly ( about 5 minutes) so if you to use this for an all over massage or a back massage you would use the bottle fairly quickly. Since you are paying a little over eight dollars an ounce you might not want to use it up so fast. It does seem a little pricy but perfume oils will cost you five times as much and offer an equal product . I it use as a light perfume over my body and a moisturizer, it works wonderfully for both. It provides me with a soft scent that isn't over powering or "boozy" smelling. It softens my skin and leaves me smelling great for hours. My husband loves it and likes being so closed to me when I smell so awesome. It has a thick, silky constancy and pours smoothly. The oil is a clear, light honey hued and is free of any debris or cloudiness. It warms quickly on body contact, so awesome.

Wild Orchid- Floral and sweet. Vanilla under mimosa and slightly musky.
Marrakesh- Exotic, floral but with spice. Pepper, mandarin, lilac.
