The Hot Love Sensual Kit comes with two round, roughly three inches, reusable gel packs, which become as warm as 129 degrees F when initiating a chemical reaction within the gel. By snapping the metal disc located inside the pack, the gel crystallizes into a slightly firmer, warm substance.

The gel packs are made with a thick vinyl, so they are strong enough to withstand the maneuvering required to pop the metal disc inside, without fear of the pack breaking.The gel, before crystallization, is a thick substance similar to hair gel. Once the disc has popped and the chemical reaction has begun, the crystals become just slightly more stiff, but still quite pliable. After about 25-30 minutes, the crystals cool and the packs become hard and stiff.

To reuse the Hot Love heat packs, simply boil them in a pot of water for 10 minutes. Do not pop the disc again until the gel packs are completely cooled off, or the crystals will almost immediately become stiff and inflexible until boiling again. Never put the Hot Love heat packs into the microwave to reheat - there are metal discs inside! Boiling is the only way to soften the gel for reuse.

And because you're boiling the heat packs to soften the gel, you're also cleaning them. While vinyl is in the porous Jelly family, these particular toys are meant to be boiled and are easily cleaned that way. If you don't plan to immediately reuse them or don't feel like boiling them right away, you can always wipe them down with a toy cleaner or good old soap and water until you're ready to boil.

These cute, pink gel packs with "Hugs" on one and "Kisses" on the other are more than a sensual product - they're something that can be kept around the house for everyone to use.

I'm a massage therapist and I found the Hot Love packs to be quite useful in the home setting for some gentle massage or heat therapy. Though I wouldn't equate them with the stones required for a hot stone massage, as they are way too soft, they are quite good at direct spot heating needed for muscle relaxation.

I don't know about you, but I am chronically feeling a pinch in between my shoulder blades. The Hot Love hot packs fit between the shoulder blades perfectly, allowing for those pesky muscles to succumb to the heat and let go of some of that tension.

In addition to being a massage therapist, I'm also the mom to a five year old. If ever was a product multi-useful, this is it. Not only is this good for relaxing Mommy's shoulders, it's good for little upset tummies. I gave one pack to my daughter to sleep with for the night after she'd been having troubles with her tummy, and she slept like a baby! Placed outside her shirt so it wouldn't be too hot for her, it stayed warm long enough for her to fall asleep - and I didn't have to worry about remembering to unplug the heating pad!

These packs are also phenomenal at reducing menstrual pain. I put one pack on my lower abdomen and one at my lower back and it greatly reduced the cramping I was feeling in my back and uterus.

I really love these hot packs! I may even get some to keep at work!
