ID pleasure - lubricant by I-D Lubricants - review by Red Riding Hood

This is a water-based lubricant that has a couple extra ingredients to give it some oomph. This lubricant took time to grow on me and has now become one of my favorites. Taking price into consideration, you DO have to remind yourself that you get what you pay for. Also, as everyone is different, some people feel the sensation more than others with this lube. I myself felt a great deal of sensation, but when applied to a man, he said he felt nothing different from regular ID Glide. This product should be safe for anyone to try unless you are super sensitive. I am sensitive myself and had no problems. Luckily it's easy to try a little bit and add to the original amount. I think this lubricant is great for partner or solo play and that it couldn't hurt for someone to at least TRY it. It's also great for someone interested in an enhancer, but doesn't want to start with something super strong.

The texture was not so different from ID Glide. That said, for some reason it seemed to last longer to me. Perhaps I am wrong, but I've compared the two and for me it lasted longer. It has a lot of slip, but isn't really thick. It's just thick enough to keep from being watery. It stays in place alright, but could probably be slightly thicker. That said, I do like how it lasted and I also liked how it never got sticky. It was easy to just reapply a bit instead of feeling like I had to clean up a goopy mess first. This also means that it doesn't get thick and difficult to squeeze out. I've noticed other lubes getting thick around the openings more than this one, so I'm guessing it's something unique in the formula.

I can't say I smelled anything when using this lube. It seemed to have no scent at all. I'm not fond of the taste, as it has a slight plastic flavor, but it's nothing that bothered me too badly. Most of the time I'm having too much fun to care!

As I stated before, the product seemed to last longer than ID glide, which I am a fan of. With the added pleasure of arousal enhancing ingredients, I do like ID pleasure better. After applying about a dime-size about, it lasted easily 10 minutes for me. When using it with a partner, I used a lot more (about a quarter-size amount) and it lasted about the same amount of time before needing to be reapplied. That doesn't seem like a long time, but ID Glide seemed to get slightly sticky. ID Pleasure just seems to turn into a silky film. I didn't mind this at all. Being water-based, it's easy to clean off and washes right out of sheets and clothing if it should happen to get on them.

As far as the extra ingredients for sexual arousal, they didn't knock my socks off. When FIRST applied, the product feels a tiny bit tingly. After a minute or so it starts to feel like slightly warm lubricant. That's really the only sensation I can pick out, but once I orgasm, it seems to make my orgasm stronger. It's difficult to explain, but I've never had a poor/weak/short orgasm when using this lubricant and I can tell it's due to the very slight tingle and warmth alternating throughout playtime.

I REALLY love this lubricant and think at the price, it's not a bad idea to at least try. Everyone is different and surely won't have the same experience as me, but you can always start with a cheap trial size and possibly end up with a product you love! It's pretty universal being compatible with any toys, and for the most part with any people. Easy clean-up and lack of sticky consistency just add to the many reasons I love this lube!
