I'll Keep You My Flirty Little Secret

If you can get past the glitter, and I do mean lots of glitter, rubbing off everywhere, this is a pretty decent lotion. Even if it doesn't live up to the firming claim and promises to get every male you see to want to jump you, it still smells really nice and still functions well enough as a lotion.

Use

In theory, Flirty Little Secret will make itself your very own flirty little secret by firming up your skin in 4-6 weeks with daily use. While it also claims to include a powerful pheromone that will make all the nearby men go crazy, that hasn't been my experience with it. Another possible drawback for you is that it is really glittery, and that glitter loves to get everywhere.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Flirty Little Secret has a nice consistency to it. It's not runny, but it doesn't take tons of shaking to get it to come out of the bottle either. It's super easy to make sure that you only squeeze out what you want, and not half the bottle. As it starts to 'melt' against the heat of your body, anything larger than a pea size dollop will start to slide, but it's really slow, so you won't have to worry about trying to catch up with it.

Right out of the bottle it's got a lovely light pink color to it. While being applied, it feels more on the watery side of lotions, but still nowhere near runny. It's smooth between the fingers and feels really nice to the touch.

Taste / Aroma

Booty Parlor doesn't list a scent anywhere that I can find, but it's, well, interesting. I personally like it a lot. In fact I almost find it intoxicating. Maybe this means that pheromones actually do kind of work, and I'm part man getting very attracted to myself, but either way, when I'm wearing it, I can't stop smelling it. It's got a sweet floral scent to it, very hard to describe. There's not one specific flower I can pinpoint, but there are a few distinct scents that mesh together very nicely, all mixed in with a hint of something fruity.

The strength of the scent is also pretty nice, because while it's lightly noticeable within a few feet of the wearer, I'm not going to be able to smell it on you from the other side of the room

Performance

Well, for optimum performance, you need to use it for 4-6 weeks daily. I personally can't stand to use it that often, not because of the smell, but because of the glitter. The first time I put it on, I ended up with glitter all over everything. I'm talking the bed, my fiance, the laptop, hell, even my phone looked like I had been rubbing all up on Edward Cullen all night. It's full of a very fine glitter that spreads out very nicely on most of the skin, but seems to make its way into the crevices on the hands and build up there, leaving your hands looking rather splotchy.

For how it functions as a lotion, not badly, but not as well as the lotions I normally use. It left me feeling soft and silky when I applied it at night, but the next morning, I felt like I needed more. So those with dry skin might find themselves still feeling dry, although you could apply it over a heavier unscented lotion to get the best of both worlds. It left my hands feeling a little greasy, since they had been playing with the lotion a lot. Wiping them off will take care of the greasy feeling for the most part, but won't take off the glitter, so go ahead and wash your hands, then apply another lotion you like.

As far as the pheromones go, well, I never put any stock into them working anyway, so I wasn't disappointed when it didn't seem to affect how much my fiance did or didn't want me.

And for the firming, I've used it a few days in a row and haven't really noticed anything. But I'll keep using and report back.

Packaging

The packaging is pretty cute actually. A lovely mix of pinks with a cute little heart shaped arrow design make up the box. It could make a nice gift, and wouldn't look out of place at the mall. The front has the name and tells you that it's a firming cream with pheromones, for the ultimate curve appeal by booty parlor. The back has a whole bunch of writing, including their little paragraph about the product, the list of 'active' ingredients, and directions. There's also full ingredients on the bottom of the box.

The bottle itself holds about 6 fluid ounces, and is a lovely shade of light pink, and mimics the box, only the full list of ingredients are also printed on the back of the bottle. It's got a flat flip cap for convenient storing "upside down", like a lot of conditioner bottles are made. The cap doesn't easily enough to do so on its own, so you can easily take it with you when you travel. They say "This double duty body booster firms your curviest parts, using a wheat protein (Tritosol XM) for instant tightening, a collagen booster (UGL Complex) to create the appearance of smoother skin, and Bio-Bustyl, a targeted enhancer to firm and tone the bust."

The list of ingredients is pretty lengthy, and printed pretty tiny, but here goes: water, ethylhexyl palmitate, caprylic/capric triglyceride, cyclopentasiloxane, hydroxyethyl urea, glyceryl stearate, dimethicone, PEG-100 stearate, polyquaternium-7, glyceryl polymethacrylate, rahnella/ sory protein ferment, propylene flycol, glycerin, PEG-8, palmitoyl oligopeptide, glucosamine hci, algae extract, saccharomyces cerevisia extract, urea, phenoxyethanol, sodium polyacrylate, hydrogenated polydecene, trideceth-10, mica, titanium diozide, synthetic fluorphlogopite, cetyl alcohol, stearyl slcohol, androstenol, fragrance, linalool, d-limonene, and red 33.

Yes, there's urea, but don't worry, it's not going to hurt you. And also keep in mind the glycerin could cause problems for some people. If glycerin in a body wash gives you a rash on any part of your body (besides genitals, as you should avoid putting this on there anyway), then you shouldn't use this either.

And for directions, they blend into the bottle so well, I didn't even notice them at first. They say to massage into desired curves (tummy, hips, breasts, buns, arms, and thighs) for 20-30 seconds to firm, tone, and improve the appearance of your sexy bod'. For best results, use daily for 4-6 weeks t reduce the appearance of dimples and see sexy, supple, skin get tighter and more toned.

Experience

When I got this assignment, literally all I knew about it was that it was a body lotion and that its name was "Flirty Little Secret." I knew nothing else about what it was or wasn't supposed to do. Quite honestly, I'm a little torn on how much I like it, because I love the scent, and the light glittery sheen is nice when it doesn't involve my hands looking like I've been jerking off a sparkly vampire. But I'm not as sold on everything else it claims to do. I did some research on it and in other stores, it retails for about $30 or so, and if it actually firms like it claims to, it's worth it I think. Otherwise, meh. As of right now, I like it, but I don't love it. It gets a solid 3 1/2 stars from me at this current moment, but since I can't do half stars, I'll bump it up to 4 just because at the very least, it's still a decent lotion that smells good, and it's only downside is leaving traces of sparkly vampires everywhere.
Follow-up commentary
I still have no idea if it actually firms, because I couldn't get past the glitter enough to use it consistently enough. However I still like the scent and still use it occasionally when I want something that will give me a nice scent and make me shimmery.
