I LOVE this Cleaner!
Awesome product! Provides a thorough clean, no residue, pleasant smell. Antibacterial but gentle on toys. Foaming action accomplishes two things: Making this bottle last a really long time, and getting into all the little nooks and crannies if your toy has any texture to it.Published: August 10, 2011
Pros:
Foaming gets into texture and lasts long, smells great, rinses clean with no residue
Cons:
None.
My usual disclaimer: I am happy to give as honest and thorough a review as I can, but please keep in mind that everybody is different. This review is based on my opinion alone. Do not use this as an indicator of whether or not you should purchase the product for yourself. Combine it with other reviews and knowledge you have about your preferences and make an informed decision.
I have had the same bottle of Wet Keep it Clean for over a year. That is how much the foaming helps it last. The foaming is also awesome for getting a thorough clean. I'm a rabbit lover and tend to end up with toys with veins, ridges, realistic heads, little bullets that look like animals, etc. The foam gets in there and cleans it all beautifully! It rinses clean without leaving any kind of residue. I have on occasion (shame on me) not cleaned my toy right after using it. Sometimes I'm like, "I'm gonna have to clean it before the next time I use it anyway, that doesn't have to be now," and I just throw it back in the drawer or even drop it on the floor because sometimes I'm just that lazy. So when I do go to clean it, not only has it picked up lint, dust, hair, whatever else is in that drawer or on that carpet, but my (getting explicit here) natural fluids have dried to it and left a crust. Disgusting, right? A little running water to soften it, then a splash of this magical cleaner do the trick every time! I don't even have to use a cloth. I can just use my fingertips to get it as clean as can be! And the smell is amazing. Sometimes if I still have it out on the counter later on, I'll wash my hands with it, just because it smells so good! Warm water and antibacterial soap will, of course, get you a thorough clean. But depending on the brand and type of soap and the type of material the toy is made of, soap can add wear and tear to the item prematurely. Using an antibacterial cleanser made specifically for toys is your best bet. Now when it comes to really high maintenance materials like CyberSkin, you may want to opt for a cleanser made just for it. I'm not sure if there is a cleanser just for CyberSkin, but they do make a product called CyberSkin Renew, which is a liquid you coat it with AFTER cleaning it and letting it air dry. Then the Renew has to completely air dry. Then you can store it in a plastic bag (honestly, is the "realistic" factor of CyberSkin really worth all this hassle?)
Anyway, all in all, I recommend this product all the time; I sell it like crazy at work when I tell customers about all of these benefits. If you're looking for a new cleanser to try, this should definitely be at the top of your list!

Follow-up commentary
4 months after original review
Did I mention in my original review that the fact that it foams when dispensed makes this bottle last a long time? Because I still have the same bottle as when I wrote the original! It's still my favorite, it works for all of the types of materials I've used it on. I still find that it cleans thoroughly, rinses clean, and has a pleasant smell.

Wet has one of the best toy cleaners and here's why: it dissolves lube right off of your toys. I've seen it demoed and you literally can see it working and see it cleaning your toy. The foam starts to break up your lube and you can see it dripping off your toy. In a pinch I have just used baby wipes and I've used spray cleaner when I'm lazy but the foam works great!

I have the System JO foaming toy cleaner and I LOVE it! It's so convenient!
