Use

Gold Dust is definitely something for glitter girls! You can apply this anywhere onto the body you are seeking attention. You can apply this to add a light shimmer to your skin before some sexy time in the bedroom, or wear it out on the town. It really doesn't matter where you where it, it still looks gorgeous! I like to wear my Gold Dust out to the bars so the light can dance of my sexy shimmery skin. This definitely makes my skin look glamorous! The glitter is gold in a creamy colored talc but once applied, the powder is invisible and the glitter sparkles nicely. It would definitely suit all skin tones - it's very pretty!

For those with allergy concerns, here are the ingredients:

Talc, Iron Oxides, Mica and Titanium Dioxide, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Honey Extracts, Parfum, Red 27

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Gold Dust is extremely light and fine - even lighter than baby powder. It feels soft and velvety to the touch and is not at all grainy when applied to the skin. It's lightweight and not heavy on the skin. The glitter somewhat stays in place but transfers when in contact with other things or people.

Taste / Aroma

The scent is very faint and not overpowering at all, and barely noticeable when applied to the skin. It actually smells stronger while in its the container. It smells like a sugar cookie although I wouldn't recommend applying this where you like to be nibbled or licked. As delicious as it smells, it's not edible. I'm sure it would taste pretty "talcy". EW!

Performance

Gold Dust gets everywhere while applying it, like most powders do. If you don't want to get it all over the place I recommend applying it while in the bathroom. Wash your hands afterwards if you don't want everything you touch to sparkle as well. It easily washes off with soap and water. It doesn't irritate or dry out my sensitive skin and doesn't cause any breakouts.

This stuff definitely goes a long ways, but does need to be re-applied throughput the day/evening. I barely need to dip the applicator into the powder and I can shimmer both my arms with some to boot. After using, you will notice glitter on random things you've come in contact with for a couple days.

Packaging

Gold Dust comes in a 2oz/60ml plastic container with an eye-catching gold screw-off top. Included is a leopard print faux-fur powder puff applicator that fits right inside the container. This is something that can be left out on a dresser or night stand. It is not recognizable as an adult novelty in any way and would not cause any embarrassment if spotted. The container is definitely small enough to throw in a purse to take along with you on your travels. But I would recommend placing it in a plastic baggie as the glitter tends to linger around and will most likely get all over your stuff.

Be sure to store this in a cool area away from moisture - The bathroom is a bad idea! Moisture can ruin powder if trapped inside making it clumpy and impossible to use.

Special Features

Gold Dust is made from natural products, including honey which is an ancient remedy used for skin moisturizer.
Follow-up commentary
What is there not to like about glitter? I love glitter and I love this stuff! I've had the same jar for almost a year and have plenty left. I wear this whenever I go out. It definitely goes a long way. I've even dusted this under my boobs and in my cleavage before going out to the bar and it really helps at preventing boob sweat. When this jar is empty I will be getting another.
