Bacio Me is the lip balm developed by Principessa Beauty to treat your lips and help make them shiny and smooth. The product comes in both a tin and a slant-tip tube.

The ingredients in this are: Polyisobutene, Oetyldodecyl Stearoyl Stearate, Beeswax (Cera Alba), Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, (Cera Carnauba), Ozokerite, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Phenoxyethanol, Flavor (Aroma), Red 7 Lake (CI 15850:1)

I HATE the texture of this lip balm. When I put it on my lips, it feels thick and heavy and almost as if I'm putting petroleum jelly on my lips, but not quite. I almost think petroleum jelly would feel better on my lips.

My lips get tacky and stick together if I press them together by mistake. They stay tacky for a long time if I don't wind up scrubbing this off within a few minutes (which I have to do every time I wear this as I will explain below).

It is easy to get it out of the tin with your finger and a lot will get on your finger as you try to get some. (I know that some folks stated that with the Not Soap Radio lip balm, it was hard to get enough on their finger at one time - you won't have that problem with this product).

I also want to point out that while this looks pink in the tin, when you use it, it is actually clear and does not color your lips.

I am hoping and praying that I don't offend some people with the following comments because they are not meant to be offensive at all.

I'm finding that the more I'm on Eden and the more I experience different products - the more people tend to sometimes fall into one of two categories...or at least some products fall into two categories when it comes to the bath and body products.

Personally, I find the Cake line and the Principessa line to be very thick in their consistency and heavy in their fragrance. I am not knocking their quality - please don't take me wrong. They are high quality products. However, whenever I use them, my skin and/or lips feel like they have some sort of a thick covering on them.

One brand that comes to mind - well two really - that have products that are lighter in scent and consistency/texture when put on your body - are the Venus bath products and the Not Soap Radio line. In both of these cases, the scents tend to be lighter and the products themselves feel lighter when put on the skin.

I find that people who are CAKE fans (Principessa is still a fairly new brand to Eden) - tend to not care as much for Not Soap Radio products - and vice versa. It isn't as much that the quality is different or less as it is that each line has either a thicker texture and stronger scent - or a lighter texture and scent.

To me, this has a heavy vanilla scent. Now, I love the scent of vanilla and use only pure vanilla in my kitchen when I cook. It is not unusual to see me constantly sniffing the vanilla if I'm baking cookies or something - because I just love the aroma. I also tend to have a lot of vanilla candles in the house and bath products, etc.

However, with that said, the vanilla in this balm makes my head hurt within 3-5 minutes of applying it. Every time I have applied it, I find myself going to wash it off within 10 minutes because my head just starts to hurt and then start spinning.

In addition, while this doesn't have an added flavor, I taste a waxy taste if I accidentally ingest a bit. I almost want to gag.

I'm afraid that I've never been able to really leave this on my lips long enough for it to perform. I feel really bad saying that - but it is true. Usually, once I get this washed off my lips, I find myself reaching for something else because my lips just feel so different. They feel like when you wake up in the morning and you need to brush your teeth and there is a coating all over your teeth and mouth...that is what it reminds me of.

I love the tin and I keep trying to figure out a way to melt the product out of the tin (perhaps by using a double boiler) and then using the tin for products that I do like. I may actually do that in the future.
