This toy was definitely designed
Shunga Massage Cream is a silky, non-greasy, moisturizing cream that is wonderful for massage. It does not “ball up” under the pressure of your hands like some massage creams. It remains smooth and silky, and absorbs fairly quickly into the skin, leaving a supple surface for continued massage and greater pressure. It is also edible, in case you find yourself unable to resist a lick or a nibble!
I have the
Shunga Massage Cream in the mint scent/flavor, which is both a good and a bad thing. The bad part is that it honestly smells rather like BenGay. The taste is somewhat better, a cool, generic minty taste that is unexceptional, but inoffensive. The good part about the mint massage cream is that it really works wonders on sore muscles, or can even be used for sensual stimulation play. As you rub it in, the cream creates a wonderful cooling effect that seeps into the skin and helps relieve tension. I use this on the back of my husband's neck and shoulders when he has a headache, and it helps relieve his tension and open his sinuses to help relieve the headache. I love it!
This is oil-based, though, so I would not use it for penetration and definitely do not use it with condoms. Fortunately, however, it does not leave an oily feeling on the skin. It soaks into the skin nicely, leaving it feeling nice and moisturized, but not sticky or greasy. Even the scent seems to improve once the cream has seeped into the skin--it becomes a lighter mint scent and is not as overpowering as sports creams.
The cream comes in a black 7 oz. jar with a screw top lid. Beneath the lid is a protective cover that keeps the cream from spilling or drying out. The cream is easy to apply directly from the jar--just scoop some onto your fingers and you are ready to go!
I generally prefer
massage oils to creams, but
Shunga Massage Cream in Mint is an excellent rub for sore, tense muscles. It is also good for “quickie” massages, when taking a shower afterward is not feasible or desirable, because the product absorbs well into the skin.
I've never had any problems with it, and it is water based. It does contain glycerin, though.
Can it be used on intimate areas as well? I am aware that some flavored products are better off staying far, far away from the genital region... is this massage cream safe?
I thought it felt moisturizing, not filmy, so we both enjoyed it!
Sounds great. No filmy after-feeling that stays on the skin? I'm always wary of creams that are also edible- how do they taste decent and absorb?
