Shiny lip balm - lip balm discontinued by Not Soap Radio - review by PeaceToTheMiddleEast

Shiny Lip Balm by Not Soap Radio does not feel like a lip balm at all. It is thicker than most lip balm and goes on more like lip gloss instead. It is a moisturizer for the lips and makes the lips really shiny.

I don't see any man trying this one out. It is really shiny and really sweet to the taste. I can only see women wearing this one.

In the container it looks thick but there is a glossy shine too it. When you put your finger in to apply it, it goes on nice and smooth. It kind of just warms up to the touch of your fingers.

When applied to the lips it does not feel greasy at all. It just makes the lips a little slippery than normal. I wore this for about an hour and after that hour I could still feel it on my lips before I had to reapply it again.

So this would be my 4th product that I enjoy from Not Soap Radio.

Always do a test to make sure you are not allergic to any of the ingredients.

The ingredients for this balm have a real short list:

Petrolatum, Cottonseed Oil, Flavoring.

This smells so good it smells like an imitation piece of candy. The smell is strong when you take off the cover and on your lips it smells for about a half hour then will fade away.

It also tastes like some kind of imitation candy to me. I just can't put my finger on what that candy may be. It is sweet but not one that will make you feel sick to your stomach. Again I can't help but lick my lips.

This product lasted for about a little over an hour. I really was not expecting that at all. My lips felt very smooth to the touch and when I licked them. I have a hard time finding lip balms or gloss that won't make my lips peel even after applying something to them. I did not have to wash it off because it just vanished right into my lips. If you wanted to take it off right away you could use soap and water or a napkin and it will be easily removed.

The Shiny Lip Balm comes in a 1/3 oz. container. It has a pink sticker on the top that says Shiny lips. It also has the company logo on it and a pair of lips with the size of the container. On the bottom is a white sticker with the ingredients list and the address of the company and their website.

Too bad it is discontinued now this one gets a 5 of 5 stars from me. I wish I have known I would have ordered another one to have as a backup. Good thing it lasts a long time though for now at least. I enjoy this very much and it will be used more often.
