ID pleasure is just okay

useful review
If you are trying an enhancing lube for the first time, this one might be one to try. If you have used others before, this one fails in comparison. Works well as a lube, but can't match up with other enhancers.
Pros:
Slippery, enhanced sensation
Cons:
Can get sticky if left on, enhanced sensation more for male than female
I don't consider myself a lube "connoisseur" by any means, but I have dealt with my share of them, both with my husband and with toys. I decided to give an enhancing lube a try, I had used a warming lube before, so I kinda knew halfway what to expect. But I digress...
ID Pleasure is a lubricant "designed to stimulate arousal". It has menthol which produces a cooling sensation to the skin and Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract which can improve circulation. It is L-Arginine free, which is good if you have/had heart problems and are pregnant or nursing. I felt safe using this even when I was pregnant because of the research I did on my own about the ingredients in ID Pleasure.
The bottle states “Feel the Zing!”, so I was ready for a "ZING!". I was a little disappointed. Although I noticed a cooling sensation upon application, it was by no means a "zing". After the initial sensation, it was just like any other lube I had tried. I also want to point out that while I had no prolonged "zing", my husband said his "zing" lasted a lot longer and probably helped him last longer than usual. The lube itself is thin and VERY slippery, but gets thicker as it dries. Because of this, I would advise cleanup soon after using this lube. It tends to get quite sticky, especially on toys.
I did find that I noticed the cooling sensation lasting a little bit longer after a few days of use. A lot of people say that these are meant to be used for a few days in a row to get the circulation going down there, so maybe that's what I was experiencing.
Overall, it does a great job as a lube, and an okay job as an enhancer. Probably would be good for someone who has never used an enhancing lube before and is looking for a "starter".

What other enhancing lubes have you tried that you prefer?
We tried KY Warming Lubricant the first time, I was very weary about it though, because warming to me equals burning and I didn't want it to burn...It has a nice sensation and it lasts. I prefer that one or Lickity Stiff from Pure Romance, although with that one, the sensation is alot for the male as well.
Thanks for the review!
Once it gets sticky, water will make it slippery again. (Because it is water-based, after all)
You are correct though, its not really a "zing" but more like a cooling feeling.
ID Cold would have been a better name.
This lube looks very loony toon-ish (a cartoon) just weird label
Nice review by the way
