Skin honey kissable body topping - lubricant discontinued by Booty Parlor - review by Peggi

The Skin Honey Kissable Body Topping by Booty Parlor is a lube-like gel which can be used for foreplay or during sex. It comes in 3 mouthwatering flavors: Chocolate & Honey, Strawberry or Honey & Vanilla. Being a sucker for both of the flavors, I chose the third, honey & vanilla. Turns out, it is actually honey vanilla chai.

If used as a lube, I'll first point out that this is water-based. This means a couple of things, starting with the consistency. This product, like most other water-based lubes, is going to come out very thin and if you use too much at once it can get messy! We used small amounts at a time, and worked our way up to what we needed for our purposes. I did find that giving it a good shake prior to each use helped thicken it up slightly, but not by much! Also, water-based lubes can be used with any toy.

The product comes in a very easy-to-use squeeze-bottle. The tube is solid black with a translucent pink cap which screws on and off easily with one hand. I found this to be very easy to do with only one hand, and it didn't appear that it would leak. I even gave it a really good squeeze once the cap was on and no oozing, so this should be safe for travel! The tube is also pretty discreet, aside from the company's name. The tube came in a cute pink and black box, the typical Booty Parlor design on the front and your basic product information and ingredients on the back. Overall it is pretty discreet and nothing about it will give away where you got it from! It almost looks like some type of body cream.

This product performs well for something like giving a hand-job, because your palm will slide right across his skin. I expected this product to be very sticky, but unless it sits on the skin and begins to dry a bit, it doesn't seem to become sticky right away. This product is messy, though, so we did need a shower after use when it was used in too many areas! For oral, this product is fantastic as far as providing a lubricant and added flavor, but the flavor itself isn't what I'd expected. I can't detect honey in it at all and the vanilla tastes very off. While there is no aftertaste like you'd get from aspartame, this is only because the taste is almost instantly gone.

For those of you who love chai tea, this may be a flavor you like. It does have that extra "spice" that chai tends to have and it almost tastes like a vanilla chai only a little more bitter than a regular cup of it might be if sweetened properly. That is the only thing I can compare this flavor to. While the flavor isn't bad, it isn't a favorite, either. The product doesn't smell anything like vanilla or honey, but rather more like a diluted version of cinnamon which I can not explain. Perhaps it is from the ginseng root?

We mostly use this product for hand-jobs and we tried it for massage, since it contains ingredients that help to soften the skin. It does leave the skin feeling sticky directly after use, but it washes off easily in the shower or even with a wet washcloth.

The product contains: Water, Glycerin, Sorbitol, Propylene Glycol, Honey Extract, Lycium Barbarum Fruit Extract, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Sodium Saccharin, Triethanolamine, Diethanolamine, Carbomer, Potassium Sorbate, Phenoxyethanol, Flavor (Aroma). May Contain: Red 40 (Cl 16035), Yellow 5 (Cl 19140), Yellow 6 (Cl15985), Blue 1 (Cl42090).

Because I am not sensitive to glycerin, we can use this as lube for penetration. Those of you sensitive to glycerin, will want to be careful, though!

4 out of 5 stars because the taste was, simply put, weird. It was off and a bit bitter which I didn't like. The product did work very well in the bedroom, though, so I can't dock it for any more stars than that!

I never learned to enjoy the taste and it was a big turn-off for me. It works well as a lube but unfortunately, because so much of our bedroom fun includes oral, there's just not much opportunity to use this. I decided not to try the other flavors after this dud.
