Shunga massage cream by Shunga Erotic Art - review by Eva Schwaltz

If you often have dry skin, then the Shunga Massage Cream will do wonders for your skin. As long as you know you don’t have any reactions to the following ingredients, then give this cream a try.

Ingredients: Water, Stearic acid, Glycerin, Safflower oil, Sorbitol, Cethyl alcohol, Glyceryl stearate, Peg 100 stearate, Petrolatum, Triethanolamine, Flavor, Methylparaben, Sodium saccharin, Honey, Vitamin E, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazol, coloring.

Use this only topically as it contains glycerin and flavoring, which can make your girly bits very unhappy. It’s classified as edible, but only after you spread it over yourself or your partner. It is available in four different scents: Cherry, Vanilla fields, Raspberry kiss, and Mint.

This cream is very thick and creamy. It’s almost as thick as body butter. It is thick enough to stay in place, but once you spread it, it becomes much thinner. It glides on very smooth. It spreads around nicely like any good body lotion. If you put too much on, it can start to become tacky, so all you need are little dabs. I only spread a small amount which gets absorbed, and I don’t feel as though I need to jump in the shower. it is water based, so if you choose to wash it off, it will come off very easily.

I chose the Vanilla Fields, which is actually called Vanilla Fetish. To me, it smells like play-doh, which isn’t exactly my fetish, but it might be someone else’s. The smell isn’t very noticeable, otherwise I’d be deducting a star.

Once spread around, it has a sweet taste, but it still tastes like lotion. This isn’t a cream I choose to eat or lick because I don’t find the taste all that pleasant. I suppose it’s always nice to have that option though.

I think this cream performs better as a lotion rather than a massage cream. It absorbs too quickly unless you use too much, and you’ll end up feeling a little sticky. I haven't had any problems with it staining anything, but if it spills, it will come off with water and soap.

I find it works well as a moisturizer after taking a shower and after shaving. For the price, you get a good amount of cream that should last quite a while. You can even reuse the jar once you are finished with the cream. Next time, I’ll be choosing a different scent so I don’t smell like play-doh.

The cream comes nicely packaged in a box telling you about the product. Inside you’ll find a pamphlet with Shunga’s other products, and the 7 oz. jar of the cream in whatever scent you choose. The jar doesn’t leak, but you might want to keep it hidden away if you don’t like displaying jars that feature a couple having sex. This would be a nice gift for a partner.
