It's Unisex Really

If you're looking for something small enough to travel with, but will still give you a nice close shave, this is the way to go. It works well for both a man and a woman, leaving you both feeling clean and smooth.

Use

The intended use of this particular shaving cream is for men to use it, either on their face or when doing a little manscaping. But I won't lie and tell you I haven't tried it either. It works well for a man or for a woman looking for a clean, close shave with little to no irritation left behind.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

It has the consistency resembling something between a shampoo and a conditioner. It comes out of the bottle very easily, but not so easily that you end up with tons more than you intended. You also don't have to shake and shake and shake to get the stuff that's settled towards the bottom of the bottle to come out.

When squirted into the hand for application, you really only need about a dime size amount for the genital or facial areas, and that dime size amount stays put unless your hand is already pretty wet to begin with. However if you keep your hand cupped slightly until you go to apply, it won't go anywhere you don't want it to.

Neither my fiance or myself found it to be greasy. It feels really smooth and creamy when applied and leaves no residue behind.

Taste / Aroma

I didn't taste this, and I highly recommend you don't either. As for how it smells, it's not too bad. My fiance had no comment on it one way or the other and couldn't decide what he thought it smelled like, but my sister and I think it smells slightly of paste. I know that sounds awkward, but in reality, it really isn't. Honestly, you have to get really close to smell it anyway, and it doesn't leave a scent behind.

Performance

This stuff worked well for both of us, leaving us both rash and irritation free. We both liked the fact that the bottle is really easy to transport, and we both liked being left clean and smooth. As for how it washes away, well, don't get yourself in the stream of water until you want the extra washed away, and if you're in a really steamy shower, shave quickly as it can sort of start to melt.

We did notice some blade gumming, but making sure to rinse the blade more often pretty much took care of that.

Packaging

This shaving cream comes in a little 1.5 fluid ounce bottle that's perfect for taking with you on the go. The packaging itself is discreet in that there's really nothing wrong with having a shaving cream, and the most risque thing on the bottle is that it says 'wet'. Seriously.

The back of the little bottle has directions: apply to wet skin before shaving, then rinse. As well as warnings, and ingredients. The ingredients are listed as: water, aloe barbadensis (organic aloe vera) leaf juice, behentrimonium methosulfate, cetearyl alcohol, stearalkonium chloride, hydroxyethylcellulose, wheat amino acids, simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, silk amino acids, panthenol (pro-vitamin B5), acena sativa (oat) kernel extract, allantoin, stearyl alcohol, PEG-75 lanolin, glycerin, cetyl alcohol, butyrospermum parkii (shea butter) extract, tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E acetate), fragrance, tetrasodium EDTA, PED-8 dimethicone, PEG-8 ricinoleate, phenoxyethanol, methylparaben, ethylparaben, citric acid.

**anybody with sensitivities to glycerin, wheat amino acids, or aloe should probably avoid this**

As for the lid, it's a simple pop down on one side like a shampoo bottle kinda opening.

Personal comments

I read a neat tip about how to reduce blade gumming and extend the life of your Coochy shaving crème; and it worked great, and I don't see why you wouldn't be able to use it with this either. It’s great for those of us who are a bit harder of sight and don't always shower with contacts in. You're supposed to take a dime size dollop of your creme and mix it with about a pea size dollop of regular shaving cream. This extends the life of the product, leaves the blades of your razor less gummy, and makes it foam up a bit which will in turn make it easier to see.

Experience

Honestly, even though we both really enjoy how well this works, it's not really worth the money for something to use every single day. We will buy more when we run out, but that's because this bottle is tiny enough that we can toss it in a bag and both be able to use it. He prefers shaving his face with the heated shaving foam, but doesn't actually mind using this either, since it shaves just as close.
Follow-up commentary
We still haven't run out of this yet, but to be fair we don't use it very often. This is something that gets tossed in with other toiletries when we travel so that my husband or I can still shave anything we want without having to worry about taking something big. It's still not cost effective as something to use every day, but to have as a travel size shave cream, it's not bad.
