The Y Style Tweezers with Clit Clamp are used for moderate to heavy nipple play. The tweezer style clamp is preferable over other style of nipple clamps if you are looking for a fairly hefty pinch with the ability to adjust the pressure. The aligator style clamps are adjustable but do not allow for as strong of pressure as the tweezer style and the butterfly style gives a lot of pressure but does not have the ability to adjust the amount of pressure down at all. For these reasons I believe the tweezer style clamps are best for beginners and advanced users. Unless you have tried the tweezer style clamp and wanted more pressure, I would warn beginners users from going straight to the butterfly style nipple clamps.

The clamps and connecting chain are made of metal. We ordered the pink set so the metal is coated with a pink paint that looks great. The nubs on the ends of the clamps are a rubbber material and help to cushion the nipples from the sharp metal ends of the clamps. That being said, one of the negatives against the tweezer style nipple clamp is that the rubber ends tend to slide off, especially after repeated use. This can be halped by placing a small about of glue inside the rubber caps and sliding them on the clamps.

The design of these clamps is quite simply but the Y style adds the option of having a third clamp for the clitoris. Personally for me, I cannot use these clamps on my own nipples. I do not like the pressure and it hurts rather than feels good. My wife however, love the pressure and the ability to tug on the chain for added stimulation but after trying the clitoral clamp, decided the pressure sensation from the clamp was uncomfortable for her so she has chosen to simply use them as nipple clamps. The clamps are easy to operate. Simply place the ends of the clamps around the nipple and slide the ring up until you reach the desired pressure.
