Pjur Med Clean Spray is an "intimacy cleaning spray lotion" that is anti-bacterial and anti-viral. It is made in Germany.


The Pjur Med Clean bottle says that it is neutral to taste and smell and is perfume-free although it does have a very faint scent that smells similar to scented feminine hygiene products. Scented tampons come to mind. I had to open the bottle and stick my nose right to the opening to smell it and when I sprayed it on my hands I had to touch my nose to it to smell it. I have never smelled it on my toys perhaps because it is so faint and I have never stuck my nose right on a toy after cleaning it. The bottle claims it can reduce body odor but I haven't tested that theory. (Maybe in my follow up I can do that) I have used this spray before receiving oral sex and my husband could not taste or smell it. I have not used it on him before oral but I will do that before my follow up review!

You can used Pjur Med Clean Spray on intimate areas as well as on toys. The bottle states it is "ideally suited for use on sensitive skin and mucous membranes" and I'd have to agree! Since it is alcohol-free you can use it on latex, rubber, and silicone. I have used this toy cleaner on silicone, plastic, and jelly toys and it works great. It isn't irritating so when you spray it "down below" it feels just like water.

The bottle calls this spray a "lotion". When you spray it it feels like water, perhaps a little heavier, if that makes sense. When it dries on the skin it leaves no residue but the skin feels a little smoother and softer.

To use this spray just coat the item or body part you wish to clean and wipe off if you need to. There is no need to rinse. I usually will coat myself or the toy and let dry and it leaves no film or residue.

Keep in mind that even though this spray is anti-bacterial and anti-viral it does not replace the use of condoms! So use those condoms still! You can even use this spray with them because it is safe on latex!
