Use

Classic Erotica came out with a line of shaving creams specially designed for women for their more private areas. This is specifically designed to help prevent skin irritation and moisturize skin. It is also supposed to "protect" the area. The name of the product is Coochy Shave Creme.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Coochy shave creme came as a pink, thick liquid-soap type formula which spreads very well on the skin. It leaves a nice, thick layer for the razor to glide over during use. It of course should be rinsed off after shaving, and does not leave any sort of strange residue or sticky feeling on the skin. All you feel is a nice, clean shave.

This is not a foam like some do, but it gets the job done just as well!

Before and after rubbing the product into my skin as if shaving:

-
    • Slick
    • Smooth
    • Thick

Taste / Aroma

Coochy shave cream comes in 9 great different scent options. You can get Oh so Original, Unscented, Citrus, Playful Plumeria, Make me Blush, Slick Chic Pear Berry, Naked Silk Green Tea, Green Tea or Original. I chose the Playful Plumeria, since I love scents like that! The Playful Plumeria smells fantastic! You really get the plumeria scent with it, and it is nice and strong so that you can smell it without pressing your nose right into it, but it is not so strong that it is sickeningly so.

The creme smells strongest, of course, right out of the bottle. After your shave, you can expect your skin to have a faint plumeria scent to them for a few hours afterward, but you would have to be in very close proximity to notice.
    • Smells good

Performance

Coochy shave creme is supposed to help prevent rashes from shaving. I did not have any irritation from the shaving creme and I didn't have any worse razor burn than usual, but the amount of razor burn I did get was a tiny bit less than usual.

That being said, I feel that this product does work well. I feel that it did earn its 5 out of 5 stars, because it smells amazing, I like the way it feels on the skin, I like the protection it gives, and it comes in very nice packaging.

You don't get a whole lot, but it doesn't take a lot at all. The largest area I shaved with this at a time was of course the legs. It took about 5 pumps between the two of them to cover with enough of the product, and that is pretty good!

Packaging

This shave creme comes in a small pump bottle, 4fl. oz. of creme in the bottle. The bottle itself is made of clear plastic, a black screw-on pump top and a clear cap. Wrapped around the tube portion of the bottle, a shiny pink sticker with product information. The packaging is not discreet whatsoever. The front of the bottle clearly says "COOCHY shave creme", "for sexy skin". Perhaps it is just me, but I don't find wording like that on most of my other shave cremes (minus those from Eden, of course!).

The packaging is actually fairly thorough with directions for how to use the product, product description and a list of what they consider to be important facts about the product. In this lineup is "No Animal Testing" which gets a thumbs up in my book! It also claims it is sugar-free, paraben-free, and made in the USA.

The bottle also lists the website where you can find out more about this product. They recommend classicerotica.net

    • Does not leak
    • Not discreet

Experience

I always love getting a new shaving creams and this was no different! I don't usually like to use fragranced shaving creams near my girly bits, since I am so sensitive down there to things like that. I loved the fact that Coochy shave creme smells so wonderful but doesn't irritate me down there during shaving! I still did get some of my usual razor burn, but it did help to prevent as much irritation as I might otherwise have gotten.

I rated this shave creme 5 out of 5 stars for performance, great smell, cost, and great packaging!
Follow-up commentary
Since my initial review, I ran out of my first product and bought another one! It works really well for those sensitive areas that need shaving, and has been a lifesaver for me! Still, I give this a 5 out of 5 star rating!
