Venus body butter - body moisturizer by Venus - review by MyDolceVita

I don't even know where to begin to describe Venus Body Butter, so let's start with the basics.

Venus Body Butter is made with Shea butter, almond oil, dead sea minerals and other products to leave your skin feeling natural and smelling delicious. My skin is pretty sensitive, especially to new products so I do advise you to try the body butter on a small area of skin before applying it all over everywhere else. Although I was very tempted to try the "Man" scent, I ended up ordering the Pineapple/Tangerine. This body butter will literally make you want to take a giant lick of yourself.

When first getting the product, I realized that the container was bigger than expected, so that's always a plus. I twisted off the cap and pulled off the silver seal only to find that the scent of the body butter was amazing. It isn't overpowering, but it's enough to apply and have the scent of it last for quite a long time. You can use this body butter after your shower and before you dry off for added moisture. I have used it both wet after a shower and on my regular dried skin. I have not applied it to my face, so I can't tell you how that went, but the feel of it was silky smooth on my chest, arms and legs.

My fiancee and I are both pretty picky when it comes to scents of perfumes, colognes and lotions, but I'm a huge fan of fruity smells no matter what it is. The pineapple/tangerine body butter made my fiancee actually ask me if it was edible. Though it is not, the fact that it makes my fiancee want to lick me will do just fine! Because it is a body butter, the substance is a bit thicker than regular lotion so you'll need a smaller amount, making the whole container last a lot longer than a container of lotion would. So make sure not to overdo it on the amount you put on.

All in all, I will definitely be buying this product over and over again. I have used mine every day for weeks now and it doesn't even look like it's been touched, so we'll see how long it takes me to buy a new scent. Pineapple/tangerine is definitely my most favorite body scent of all time, as well as my fiancee's. Whether my skin is wet or dry, the scent and the feel of the body butter lasts all day. It leaves my skin feeling clean, silky and smooth like a baby. I love, love, love it!
