Use

The Cleopatra's Secret is an arousal lube made by Classic Erotica. It produces a nice cooling sensation, which can intensify your orgasms. It works well as an oral lube and comes in delicious flavors for your partner to lick off wherever you choose to apply it. The pump bottle allows you to control the amount you want to use. It should only be applied externally because some ingredients may upset the pH balance of the vagina.

I chose the Cherry Vanilla, and it tastes amazing. The ingredients are sunflower oil, glycerol monosterate, stearic acid, sorbitol, cetyl alcohol, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, and propylparaben. If you think you may have reactions to this cream, then stay away from getting this.

For an oil-based substance, the consistency of this cream is like a gel. It stays put nicely wherever you place it, and it won’t run or drip everywhere. If I hold the bottle upside down, nothing will drip out. It comes out of the bottle nice and thick, but it thins out nicely when it is licked up. If applied directly to the mouth, it has a creamy consistency to it.

It has a smooth feel and taste. It absorbs nicely into the skin; this surprised me because I thought it was going to become very sticky and tacky, which it didn’t. Spreading it around is very easy, and it doesn’t feel stringy. It has the perfect consistency for an arousal cream.

Taste / Aroma

The Cherry Vanilla flavour of the Cleopatra’s Secret makes a wonderful oral lube. It has a very sweet taste, and some may find it to be too sweet. It tastes like cherries with a hint of vanilla, and it doesn’t have a bad aftertaste. The aroma isn’t very strong. I have to put my nose right on top of it to get a good smell, so if strong fragrances give you a headache, this cream definitely won’t give you one. You can definitely smell the vanilla more than you can taste it.

Performance

This cream produces a wonderful cooling sensation on the nipples and clitoris. I use about three pumps for my clit, which feels great but might be too intense for some. The sensation lasts for about fifteen minutes, and you can either wash it off or reapply more. The cream will wash off easily. It tingles a little bit in the mouth, so if you are patient, then wait a little bit before giving oral. When using for the first time, you may have to pump a few times to get the air out before the Secret starts to come out.

Packaging

The packaging is very minimal. The bottle arrives as is but with a plastic covering you just have to peel off. Depending on your living situation, you may or may not want to leave the bottle out in the open. Right on the bottle, it says “Female Arousal Crème”—and there’s no mistaking what that means. On the bottle, it warns to keep out of reach of children, to discontinue use if irritation occurs, and to designate for adult use only. It is also small enough to store it if you don’t want anyone seeing it. This one-ounce bottle is only four-and-a-quarter inches in height. It is a pump bottle with a cap, and I haven’t had any trouble with it leaking.

Experience

For my personal preference, I find I need to use a few drops to get enough satisfying sensation. Even with a few drops at a time, this bottle will last a long time. I really enjoyed the taste of this cream, and I also like that it is not runny and won’t cause a mess. If you aren’t sure if Cherry Vanilla is for you, there are five other flavours to choose from: Berry, Strawberry, Raspberry, Peaches-Cream, and Menthol. I look forward to trying other flavours.

Follow-up commentary I still like it 2 months after original review

I finished this little bottle of lube, but I don't think I'll be getting another one. I'm not a huge fan of cooling sensations, but the flavor is really nice. I recommend this to anyone looking to spice things up.
