Romantic candle - mist by Kingman - review by TameTemptress

I am a self proclaimed candle fanatic. I love them. I have them in every room of my house (well, except the children's rooms, but I have battery operated "candles" in there for ambiance as well, haha!).

There is nothing like the soft glow of a flickering candle to help me relax, and if you add a fantastic scent throw? I'm in heaven!

I was immediately interested in these Champagne Lights Scented Candles with Pheromones when I saw them here at EdenFantasys for such a good price.

The candles are contained in small, sturdy, glass jars, with screw top tin lids. They could easily be reused to store small items in when the candle has used up. I will admit, that I do wish they were a bit larger.

This candle is available in French Vanilla, Champagne Rain, Midnight Romance, and Apples & Cinnamon. I have used both the French Vanilla and the Champagne Rain. Of the two, I prefer the French Vanilla which quickly made my entire home smell deliciously of vanilla (and made me want ice cream! haha). Champagne Rain did not fill my home with scent nearly as well as the vanilla, and while I did enjoy the clean, lightly floral scent, it's probably not one that I will order again. I really can't say that the Pheromones had any effect on myself or my husband (we weren't any more lovey dovey or pawing at each other any more than usual), I was more concerned with the scents.

The Champagne Rain had purple colored wax. I believe the French Vanilla had a cream colored wax, but it's been awhile and I can't quite remember. I took photos of the Champagne Rain which you can see if you follow the link I'll include towards the end. The wax is very interesting, as the candle jar is filled with tiny little balls of wax. When I received the Champagne Rain candle, the wick was all the way to the side of the jar, but the wax balls made it very easy to simply move the wick back to the center. When I used the French Vanilla candle, it had been a gift, and the wick was already in the center. However, I wasn't a big fan of the jar for use in my living room, so I was easily able to lift the wick out and place it into another glass votive holder I had on hand. I was then able to use a small spoon to help me pour the wax beads into the new holder. You'll want to be careful not to spill these beads as they will get everywhere and make a mess...there are thousands of them, they're so tiny. Once you burn your candle, the wax melts together and you no longer have tons of little wax beads.

I was able to get several uses out of these candles, burning for a few hours here and there. I didn't really keep track of the hours, but I was not at all disappointed in the amount of burn time for the price.

I think I'll try the Apples & Cinnamon scent next.
