Liquid Fail

If you love the feeling of minty or tingling lubes, this product might be for you. If you were expecting a little more BANG for you buck, however, you'll likely be as disappointed as I was.

Pros:
Easy to clean, no smell, and slick without being sticky.
Cons:
Terrible taste, very little sensation.

somewhat useful review
Liquid V has some great reviews and I know a lot of ladies who swear by it, but it just didn't work out for me. I followed the directions and put a drop directly on the clit, but it felt just like any other mint or menthol lube. It lasted a few seconds and then the "extra sensation" went away entirely. Unfortunately, the taste didn't. This stuff definitely wasn't made for oral sex! It has a very bitter taste that doesn't really fade until you fully wash off the product, so beware if you're using this before any type of oral sex. It has no smell, and the feel of it was decent in that it was slick but not sticky.

For such a tiny bottle, this stuff is pricey! I work at an adult toy store, and we carry the small pillow packs for a very affordable price so you aren't risking much if you decide to try it. I'd highly suggest finding something similar before forking out the cash for a larger bottle. One pillow pack even lasted me a few different times so I was able to try it several times before making the decision. If you do decide to go for the larger bottle, it's worth the money if Liquid V does work for you as you only need one drop (or two drops at max) at a time.

Clean up was simple! With no sticky residue or smell, it's just a quick wipe with a cloth and it's gone. If you're a little more sensitive, you might need to use a moist towel or shower off so that the menthol feeling goes away fully and doesn't cause any discomfort. Remember not to use Liquid V during menstruation or while pregnant, as per the bottle's instructions.

Seems like this is another one of the "person-specific" products.

Yea, I tried this, and it felt like it was burning me. I wont be buying the full size bottle.

Unflavored for me. I'm prone to infections and general unpleasantry with flavored lube. Gotta be careful with those sugars!
    • We use unflavored lubes for anal toys.

  • Is there tightening gel out there?
    • Not sure if I'm doing this the right way, but I am trying to relate this topic to the Liquid V product here at Eden. I recall having something very similar to this before, and I thought it was to help tighten the PC muscles for sex. Is there something that works like that? Obviously it would only be a temporary fix, but a cool one none the less!

I know there is but I don't believe I've seen any on Eden.

I've had good luck tightening my PC muscles with kegel exercises and using a vaginal exerciser the day of having sex. It doesn't take long to get decent results that way and you don't have to worry about any kind of irritation or anything.

Liquid V didn't tighten anything for me. In fact, it didn't really do much for me other than make me feel like I had ice on my clitoris for a minute or two. Guess it just doesn't work for me.
