Little Gift for a Big Day

This bridesmaid makeup set could be a cute addition to bridesmaid gifts. It might be especially appreciated by young bridesmaids who would enjoy having a makeup kit. The small palate of colours provided can be blended and used in combination with other cosmetics for a finished look.

Use

This is a little makeup gift set that's meant to be a bridesmaid gift. On the front of the set there is a message that reads "For my beautiful bridesmaid." The set is a little bit bigger than a business card, and it would make a great gift tag on top of another gift or a little token to accompany a card. When you open the makeup kit there is a little mirror, four different shades of lip gloss, four different shades of eye shadow and a small applicator brush. The eyeshadow shades are complementary and could be easily blended. There are two shades of pink and two earth tone shades. None of the eye shadows are dark enough to use as an eye liner. The pink shades could potentially be used as blush but they have some sparkle to them.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The lip glosses are quite shiny when applied, and the tint is not very strong. They have a gooey consistency when being applied. The lip gloss lasts a decent amount of time, especially if you don't eat or drink while wearing it. The eyeshadows have a typical eyeshadow texture. They are firmly pressed into shape so they won't fly away like powder eyeshadow.

Taste / Aroma

The lip glosses do not have a taste or smell. The eyeshadows do not have a smell. I did not taste the eyeshadows as that is not what they're meant for.

Performance

This is by no means a stand-alone cosmetic set. These products will look best if combined with eye liner, mascara and some proper blush and foundation. That said, they could be easily combined with other products if the colours are appealing to you.

I love the magnetic closure on the lid of this set. It stays quite firmly closed and is easy to open as well. The little mirror inside is also a nice touch.

For removal, treat these products like all makeup. Use your favourite face wash and possibly some eye makeup remover to clean it off.

	kendra30752 (verified) Thanks for the info on this! I've been really interested in trying the makeup, but I think I'll skip that. For the price of it, it should really be able to hold it's own and not need other makeup, in my opinion at least. Lol. When I spend that much on a pallette, I expect it to be high quality and not need a lot of work I guess. Well hopefully another kind will end up being super! The lip gloss sounds decent.
