Iconic duckie - discreet massager discontinued by Jimmyjane - review by Fanny

The Iconic Duckie from Jimmyjane is a discreet vibrating massager. In addition to being a clitoral vibrator, it can also be used as a full body massager/teaser. This little toy is REALLY adorable and doesn't look like a sex toy at all! If you've got kids, you might want to keep this one hidden because this toy doesn't even look like one of "Mommy's toys" and it might get nabbed by one of your little darlings! If you don't have any kids, then you can definitely leave it out without worrying that people will identify it as a sex toy.

This little baby is made out of hard plastic. It doesn't have any kind of noticeable smell, but when I put it to my nose it has sort of a clean scent. The feel of the of the plastic is very smooth and soft to the touch. There isn't much texture other than the ridges of the feathers on the sides of the duck. I don't really think these ridges are meant for added stimulation though, but they sure do look cute! The only other part that's textured/ridged is the face. The beak and the eyes/cheeks are molded in a way that adds some nubs/bumps. These, unlike the wing ridges, may add some stimulation during use.

Other than being a massager/vibrator, this toy's main purpose is to be cute. It's clearly designed to make people go "awww" and for you to want to display it. Jimmyjane has a way of making toys that are truly original, and even when they produce toys that have already been done, they do it in a different way. The duckie is designed to be, as the name implies, iconic. It's truly your childhood rubber duckie but with just a small twist. By making this toy white/gray, it gives the toy a nice retro feel, but at the same time a sexy/modern/minimalist look.

The duckie is rather small. It's a little smaller than I seem to remember toy rubber duckies being. (That could be because I was smaller then...) There is a flat panel on the bottom where the controls are. There is a dial that switches the toy from off to on (there are only two modes: off and on. There isn't a way to control the strength of the vibration). The batteries pack is also located on this panel. One of my complaints about this toy is that the panel sort of interrupts the smoothness of the toy. I wish that the bottom of the duckie was just a smooth surface. This would make the toy a better overall massager.

As I mentioned before, the controls are located on the underside of the duckie. The vibrations are the strongest in the head and tail, perhaps stronger than the tail than the head. The tail seems to be the most ideally shaped part of the duckie for clitoral stimulation. The vibrations are strong, but definitely not as strong as many bullets/high end clitoral vibrators. My usual go-to toy is Lelo's Siri, which has much stronger vibrations, so to go from something like that to the duckie is sometimes a little disappointing. Perhaps a beginner would find the vibrations strong enough, but for me, I need something that has a little more kick. Also, since the duckie is hard plastic, he tends to make me numb very quickly. The duckie is a little noisy. It can DEFINITELY be heard through the covers, and most likely through a door.

One really nice thing, perhaps its saving grace, is that its waterproof. This toy is SUPER waterproof! It can even be submerged completely in the bathtub! Next time I take a bath, I'll have to bring this baby with me.

This toy is really easy to clean since its completely waterproof. I clean it with soap and water after I use it, or if I take it into the shower with me I just clean it while I'm showering. I don't have any kind of storage for this toy. Since its SO adorable, and doesn't really collect dust, I leave it on my dresser!
