Magic Wand Original - sex toy by Hitachi - review by Sodom and Gomorrah

The Hitachi Magic Wand is made by Hitachi and is a great vibrator. Please be careful though, since it’s not waterproof and you can even be at risk of electrocution if exposed to water. Treat it as if it was the same as your hair blow dryer. The electricity is only set for AC input for electric outlets and is not considered an international unit. This sensual unit has many uses and magnificent power. This toy is excellent for beginners or advanced users. Anyone can try it since you can also apply it to other parts of your body as a lovely massage aid. It’s very powerful and very noisy so plan for the extra noise if you want to use it privately. I think it’s majestic to stimulate your sexy self and bring on an orgasm.

This Magic Wand’s material is made out of plastic which rates an 8; that happens to be on the higher end of Eden's Material Safety Scale. This also means that this item is food-grade material, hypo-allergenic, latex free and phthalates free. The texture of the soft flexible head is smooth to the touch. I think it was comfortable, but if you are overly sensitive you might have to put some cushion in between yourself and the vibrator. As far as smell, I didn't notice any smell to it which was good. The product page states that this material is a non-porous and phthalate-free material with firm and smooth textures.

I enjoyed the design of this vibrator very much. The color is a beautiful white and blue, as you can see in the picture. The vibrations are either low or high, it was nothing too overwhelming for me. The shape was completely comfortable and the size was even better because it can be used for wider areas too. It’s kind of discreet since it looks like a regular massager when you’re looking at it and doesn't resemble a sex toy at all. I would say it’s also suitable for travel.

The Hitachi Magic Wand is definitely noisy, but most people don’t mind because of its excellent performance. It felt powerful enough to stimulate. The most vibrating part of the unit was on the upper end throughout the circular ball. The electric toy plugs into the wall and has a power switch with three settings: low, off, and high. The control was easy to use, and not difficult at all to understand. It reminded me of my blow dryer settings. It worked very well. Please be careful, I repeat that this unit is not waterproof.

This toy’s material is plastic which is very easy to clean. I wouldn't clean this in water since this particular unit may not get wet. I recommend toy wipes or toy cleaners for fast cleaning before and after use. You can also wipe it down with isopropyl alcohol. This toy is not intended for vaginal insertion or any other bodily insertion. It’s strictly for external use only. If you still would like to use lube for external use, you may use any of your most favorite lubes since plastic is compatible with water, oil, or silicone lubes. My most preferred are water-based lubes or silicone-based lubes.

The packaging implies it's for tired, achy muscles, and to relieve tension. It was very discreet since it doesn't look like the original intention of it was to be a sex toy. On one side it showed a picture of the Hitachi. On the other sides it showed a man using it on his back and a woman using it on her shoulder, back, upper arm, and her calf muscle. I think I can leave this around pretty much anywhere and let it be seen.

I enjoyed my experience with the Hitachi Magic Wand. I was a bit disappointed that it wasn’t waterproof, but the power makes up for whatever it lacked. I used it at first as a stimulation aid and it had sweet vibrations. If I left it on the same angle it starts numbing the area, so I suggest lightly moving it around. I was highly surprised, and truly enjoy this vibrator. I usually prefer smaller internal vibrators but this plastic Magic Wand gives off magical tingling sensations.
