Venus Aromatic Mist in Milk is a spray that can be used on just about anything to leave a light, fresh scent in its place.


This isn't like a typical body spray. This mist gives off a powerful scent at first, but doesn't last a long time. It's a light spray that works best for adding a touch of freshness whenever it's necessary. It's a great spray to have with you on the go since it can help you freshen up during your busy day, and isn't likely to clash with any other body products you would have used earlier.

If you're not interested in using this as a body spray, it works well in other ways too. You can use it to freshen up your car, your closets, spray your seasonal clothes before you store them, even the blankets on your bed when you haven't had the chance to wash them. This light spray will add a touch of freshness to just about any area of your home and is great for the days when it's too cold to open the windows and let a little fresh air come in.

Any gender can appreciate the qualities of this fresh scent, though this seems more marketed toward women and they would be more drawn to it than men. There are many other scents to choose from, but only one is called 'Man'. I imagine that this one smells more than a masculine cologne, though I'm not sure. Milk is a very nice, clean scent that I imagine just about anyone would like.

If you're planning on using this on your skin, always make sure to read through the list of ingredients to make sure that you're not overly sensitive to anything listed. It's also a good idea to test a small area of your skin if you are typically sensitive to body care items.

This spray is just as thin as water and comes out of the pump effortlessly. Each press of the pump produces a very fine mist that covers a fairly large area. The mist feels wet when it touches your skin, and has only a slight oily feeling at first. The spray absorbs into the skin easily, but might need to be rubbed in a little bit depending on how much you sprayed.

Once fully absorbed, it doesn't feel heavy on the skin, but also doesn't do anything to the appearance or feel of it. It doesn't moisturize or leave glitter or anything fun like that. It's simply a spray that is designed to leave a fresh scent, nothing more.

When sprayed on blankets and other fabrics, I haven't noticed any oil spots or marks left behind, but you might want to test out a small area before going crazy. Some materials are more susceptible to staining than others.

This aromatic mist smells very clean. It gives off a sort of freshly laundered scent that seems to make everything smell like you've had the windows open all day. It also slightly reminds me of brand new baby products because there is a very fine hint of a powder scent in the mix of it, and has undertones of some sort of sweetness. Overall, the scent is very light and airy and makes a great scent to have around to freshen up the smell of your home.

On the skin, the taste is very light. For the sake of this review I gave the product a very small taste and it was exactly what I had expected. It tastes the way it smells, only has a sort of soapy aftertaste to it. On the skin it's not bad and wouldn't be an issue if someone's mouth were to be on your body after you had sprayed yourself. The longer the mist has been absorbed into your skin, the less taste comes from it. This is not designed to be consumed, but having a faint taste from kissing your partner's neck isn't going to cause an issue.

The most disappointing thing about this spray, is the length of time in which is lasts. This product isn't designed to leave you smelling fresh all day, but works really well in a pinch. After 30 minutes, the scent is barely noticeable, even when putting your nose directly against your clothing or skin. It's nice and strong initially, but fades far too quickly in my opinion.

It also does take a little bit for it to absorb into the skin. This surprised me since so many other body sprays only feel wet/oily for a moment before feeling completely dry again. Using less product or rubbing it in will help to eliminate this problem to a small degree.

Should you find you don't care for this spray, you can easily just wait for it to fade, or change your clothes and take a shower. If you sprayed it on your linens or something similar, there's little need for washing this product off since the scent is light and won't last long.

The bottle this comes in contains 4 ozs of the aromatic mist; making it too much to take with you if you plan on flying since the TSA limit is 3 ozs. You could always transfer the liquid to another container if you feel the need to take this along with you, but keeping it in the bottle would not be acceptable.

The label on the bottle itself is very discreet. No one would think it came from an adult site, especially mixed in with your other body care items. The coloring of the label reflects the scent the bottle contains. The Milk scent has a very 'cool' coloring to it; pale greens and blues. When you look closely at it, you can see the form of a person, with their back facing you. It could really pass for someone of any gender since there's no identifying features.

The information on the bottle is minimal and the only real text that would make you think it was an adult product is where it gives the directions; and even that is reaching:

The label also gives the ingredients and mentions that it's made in the USA and isn't tested on animals. Should you want to make this bottle completely discreet, the label can be peeled off, but is rather difficult to do so. The glue that's used to hold it in place stays very well and will only create a sticky mess if you try to remove it.



When it first arrives, there's a layer of plastic over the cap to prevent the bottle from leaking during shipment. It has a perforated area that makes it easy to peel down and remove. Once the plastic piece is removed it reveals a smokey colored cap that prevents the spray pump from being accidentally pressed. The spray area of the bottle is black, but the rest of the bottle is clear.

While this product didn't last as long as I had hoped it would, I truly love the fresh scent it provides. I think this is one I would keep in the car for on the go, since it works so well in a pinch. It's not something that I plan on using all the time, but the scent is great for a light freshening up.
