Shunga's Erotic Massage Oil can be used for adding glow to the skin, healing and moisturizing dry, cracked skin or for a romantic night with a partner.

Ingredients:
Cold pressed oils (almond, grape seed, sesame, avocado and sofflower), Vitamin E, Ylang-Ylang and Yohimbe plus Fragrance.

Since the massage oil is thin, but oily and contains Vitamin E, it works wonders on feet or other dry, cracked skin. Although I'm unsure as to what amount of Vitamin E is in the massage oil, it's worth noting that Vitamin E can fade scars and heal skin. Avacado is amazing for your skin as well! It's actually a natural skin softener and moisturizer. I've used avacado masks on my face for a long time and there's nothing like it! It's does wonders for my complexion. While these ingredients are things I like and find beneficial, it may not be for you. If you're allergic or sensitive to any of these, stay away or use caution!

This massage oil is amazing for couples, but since it has great benefits for skin, it can be great for those uses alone.

This is somewhat mood enhancing for us since it puts me in such a relaxed state. It's mood enhancing for my partner because he's doing the body rubbing!

This massage oil is wonderful for an all over body massage including feet which will also be left soft and less dry/cracked. I wouldn't suggest eating this as it doesn't taste delicious and is not edible. However, if you are interested in doing so, you might want to check out Shunga's flavored version. This does have little taste so kissing and licking isn't a bad tasting experience.

Shunga's Erotic Massage oil is extremely runny, has the consistency similar to water only oily. As soon as it's applied it runs! The best way to use this is by using the bottle to drip it directly onto skin. It's less messy this way. I love the thin, slick but slightly oily feel. It isn't greasy and never leaves greasy or sticky residue behind and I appreciate that the most. It's a clear/yellow color.

This spreads better than any massage oil I've used before. Only 6-10 drops will cover my entire back and butt. The snap open lid and tall, slim bottle make this easy to hold and use. It doesn't pour out if held at an angle and applying light pressure for drips. I would not squeeze the bottle hard or there will be a mess!

If applied to a partner that is lying flat, it will stay in place better. It only runs until it's rubbed all over and then it stays in place.

The oil leaves me super soft and glowy rather than sticky and uncomfortable. I don't feel the need to shower after this and have even fallen asleep after getting a massage. No worries with waking up with you sheets glued to your body. It gives a wonderful glide leaving no drag to your skin.

This is an oil based massage oil so it isn't supposed to absorb quickly. If you are looking for something that does absorb quickly, you might prefer a massage *lotion* and not an oil. Lotions will absorb much quicker, but oils, especially Shunga's are for a long massage. You can expect a small amount (quarter size) to keep you slick for a good hour. It will eventually absorb, but not without massaging and rubbing. If you need to stop before this is absorbed, a damp washcloth will do the trick unless you've used a large amount.

I can still feel this on my skin somewhat the next morning and when applied the my feet and legs, the glow will last for nearly 24 hours.

The scent I have is Strawberries and Champagne and it's very hard to smell. While I'm on the recieving end of the massage, I am unable to smell this any. If I am the massager, I do get subtle whiffs. It's so lightly scented that it's hard to really say what it smells like. This is a good thing for me since I tend to be sensitive to scents. When held to my nose it smells more like watermelon to me. It isn't extremely sweet.

Like the scent, the taste too is barely there. Unless I lick a glob of this, I can't taste much of anything. This is great since it means kissing and licking the back and other body parts isn't a turn off due to bad taste.

I had been using professional foot and body massage products and wasn't very fond of anything else so I didn't expect Shunga to exceed my expectations. I actually ended up liking this much better than the professional line I had been buying! It's lasts so much longer and has other uses.

The Erotic Massage Oil creates a super slick surface that's slightly oily for some friction during massage. The long lasting oil makes this great for those who like a long massage. With some of my favorite ingredients, this definitely performs better than what I'd been using.

The massage oil can be used for a foot massage too. No need for an extra set of massage products for your feet when this can be used for both body and feet! It heals dry, cracked skin and leaves a really nice glow that enhances my tanned complexion.

This does penetrate, but it does so slowly allowing you to recieve a full massage without the need of constant reapplying. This also means the product lasts longer and the benefits of it being on your skin increase.

Since it does last for so long, I do like to shower after several hours just to clean up. It doesn't leave any residue so I don't clean up immediately. If a small amount is used, a wet wash cloth will clean things off nicely. If a lot is used and you want to shower before it has absorbed, a little soap may be needed.

I love that it doesn't leave me sticky and won't stain after it has absorbed. I have noticed that heat seems to re-activate it. If I'm next to a heater, it seems the oil kind of turns damp and oily again.

The Erotic Massage Oil comes in a tall, slender plastic bottle. It's clear and the color of the oil is clear with a yellow tint. You have 8 fl. ounces that will last for a very long time. The bottle is nice and the snap lid is easy to use, but it will leak if not upright. I had it in a basket of edible and massage products and it leaked a little. This means it should not be traveled with unless you add a small amount to a safe container. Other than that, the container is great! We have no problems using one hand to snap it open and drip a little out. The bottle can get slippery though!


There's a little information on the back of the bottle. The bottles description is dead on when it says... "sexual desire becomes alert and ready for love." That is absolutely what my partner and I experience!

In English, the information on the bottle says:
"Silky smooth, this oil slides gracefully evoking a sensation of total rapture. Sexual desire becomes alert and ready for love." This I find to be fairly true!

The bottle is discrete enough for me to leave out, even with kids around. It does say Libido at the bottom and has a cartoonish couple embracing a lot like most of Shunga products do. I don't find it tacky, trashy or inappropriate at all. It's somewhat artistic. Most of Shunga products are very artistic. This just looks like a simple oil and wouldn't draw extra attention when in a crowd of your other body products. Unless the word "libido" or the little description on the back (what I quoted above) would embarrass you, it should be fine to leave out. It is nice and a luxurious massage oil. Like most Shunga products, this would make a really wonderful gift!

While this massage oil doesn't have warming or cooling properties, it does make me "sexually alert" like no other massage product ever has. It's unique that's for sure!

My partner and I have enjoyed this oil more than any we've bought and I can't help but kick myself for all these years of wasting money on the pro stuff. I would recommend this before I would the professional lines I've used for so long. It has so much going for it!

This also works well with a piece of glass like the Rotator for a deep tissue massage. The heavy glass glides right down to the muscle with no effort.
