Organic lip balm smooth stick - lip balm discontinued by Evolution of Smooth - review by TdotY

After falling in love with the sphere shaped lip balms by EOS, I totally had to give these a try. I'm really glad I did, because I love these balms just as much as I loved their sphere shaped lip balms. As much as I love the sphere shape and how fun they are to apply, it may not always be the most practical lip balm to carry on you in certain situations. For example -- if you're not carrying a purse, and you want to put your lip balm in your pocket, this stuff will be a better choice than the sphere. I've started taking this stuff with me when I go for runs. It fits in my pocket comfortably, and if I don't have pockets, it sits comfortably inside my sports bra.

Now, lets talk about what matters. The quality of this lip balm is pretty amazing if you ask me. This lip balm is 100% natural, 95% organic, gluten-free, not tested on animals, and made in the USA. All of these things sound great to me! I really love the texture and the formula of this lip balm. It's very smooth and buttery, and it easily glides across my lips. I did notice that this lip balm is smooth right off the bat, and you don't have to work this lip balm on as much as you do with the sphere shaped lip balms. It's also great at making your lips feel nice and hydrated. I don't have severely chapped lips, so I can't testify if it would be good for those with severely chapped lips. But, I would recommend their tangerine sphere shaped lip balm, as it is slightly medicated.

I love the smell of this lip balm, and the taste isn't all that bad either. It doesn't make you want to lick your lips all day, but if you happen to, the taste isn't unpleasant. You can smell the strong minty scent before you even open your lip balm. It is a very strong peppermint smell, and it reminds me a lot of the smell of a candy cane. This stuff is very sweet and minty, and it gives your lips a slight tingle after you've applied it.

While this stuff is overpriced here on Eden, and you can get it at the store for a lot cheaper, I would still pay that much for this product. That's how much I love this stuff. I find myself switching back and forth between this stuff and my sphere shaped lip balms, but I see myself buying this stuff again in the near future for sure!
