Mint Tree loveliness

KamaSutra's Luxury Bathing Gel in Mint Tree turns the bath or shower into a invigorating and refreshing experience. It has a light mint scent, nothing overpowering and it leaves the skin feeling clean but moisturized. The scent doesn't hang around though, you can enjoy it in the shower, but once you're out it's gone.

extremely useful review
I love mint, I just love it. Whether it's mint flavor, or mint scent, even mint color, I just love mint. So, when I came across KamaSutra's Mint Tree Luxury Bathing Gel, I knew I had to try it. And while it's more expensive than your run of the mill drugstore shower gel, it performs a lot nicer too, at least in my opinion. I also find that I don't need as much to cleanse my entire body. I use maybe a quarter sized amount of this shower gel, where with my regular shower gel I use probably twice that if not more. So, with a 17.5 oz bottle I think I'll get quite a lot of showers out of this bottle, and it's pretty spiffy and definitely worth the cost.

The first thing I loved about this bathing gel when it arrived was the bottle. The bottle is actually different than the one on the Product info, the new design is a shorter, but fatter, bottle with a pump top. This is awesome for a few reasons. One, I love pump top bottles. They're just so convenient, especially in the shower when you're already dealing with soapy and wet hands. I also love this bottle because you can see through this bottle into the lovely green gel inside. The gel is clear and you can see directly through the bottle, it's not a shimmery opalescent type gel or anything. The bottle does say KamaSutra, but that's it, nothing else is suggestive on this bottle.

The mint scent is somewhat light it's refreshing, but not overpowering. I have another similar shower gel, from Shunga, and that one is pretty intense. So intense in fact that it can make my eyes burn sometimes. I don't have that problem with this KamaSutra bathing gel. It smells pretty natural too like natural mint rather than a mint candy or something. The bottle says that it is meant to cool and tingle, but I don't really notice this much unless I am using a poof with it, since the poof exfoliates my skin and lets the tingle in.

I actually prefer using my hands with this bathing gel though it just feels more luxurious that way. It's all a matter of preference I guess. When using it with a poof it does suds more, like all shower gels. When I use it on my hands and use my hands to clean my body or my husband's body it feels very smooth and silky. I found this shower gel to be very nice and sensual for partner showers as it rinses away easily leaving totally kissable skin, the suds don't stick around with a soapy aftertaste. Sometimes when we use a moisturizing shower gel that we have we find that the skin tastes soapy even after the shower, a clear sign that it's lingering on our skin. With the KamaSutra bathing gel we found that afterwards our skin feels moisturized but clean, not oily or greasy. You only feel skin, and you only taste skin. Unfortunately the scent also does not stick around, which I was kind of hoping it would.

The ingredient list includes many moisturizing and cleansing essential oils like jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, avocado oil, and many more. It also includes Vitamin E. Unfortunately, glycerin and a parabens are also among the ingredients, so if that concerns you, use caution. I personally am ok with glycerin in this application.
Follow-up commentary
Kama Sutra's Mint Tree bathing gel still remains a favorite of mine. I go between this one and Intimate Organics shower gel, and I have to say that this stuff far out performs the Intimate Organics gel in the sudsing department. The suds with Kama Sutra's gel are a lot more full and foamy, making this an ideal bathing gel to use with a partner. The experience with this is slippery and soapya and just makes for a whole lot of fun.

I've also found that when I have a cold the Mint Tree gel is nice for opening up my sinuses a bit. It's not the most powerful mint scent out there, but it does help awaken the senses and can help you to wake up and feel more energized or soothe the sinuses during cold and flu season.

I only really use shower gel for the lingering scent. i use it last in the shower and am already squeeky clean by the time I'm at that step, so thi would be useless for me. Thanks Alicia!

Yea, it probably would then. There's really no lasting benefit to it after the shower, other than clean skin LOL

I wonder if I would also have the burning reaction to parabens if it's dilluted in bath water instead of applying it directly on my genitals like a lubricant. I'm really tempted to try it, and would update you with the info when I do.

I personally can't use this on my genitals without a slight burning feeling. Although I really think that's because of the cooling mint and not so much because of glycerin or parabens. I'm just super sensitive.
