Mixed Feelings
For the price this kit is a great way to try something new. I wasn't impressed with all the products but I will be looking for the massage oil in a larger size! The edible oil is very tasty but I don't recommend the lubricant.Published: February 11, 2009

Don't be discouraged, as we nearly were, by the smell of the massage oil when first opening the bottle. It smelled like a cardboard box! The strawberry cheesecake edible oil smells wonderful and tastes remarkably like a strawberry cheesecake. The cooling sensation lubricant smells like menthol and isn't very pleasant, it reminded me of horse liniment! The oils are packaged in small 2 fl. oz. plastic bottles and all three are in an attractive cardboard box.
We opened the bottles and smelled them gingerly. The strawberry oil got tasted and pronounced very delicious. Despite the weird cardboard smell of the spice massage oil we tried it anyway. When the oil warms up it has a wonderful spicy smell that is not cloying but rapidly became one of our favorite oils. A little goes a long, long way and the oil doesn't become sticky or stringy.
The edible oil is very nice for a blowjob though I won't use it on my vagina due to the fear of yeast infection. The taste doesn't last long, nor did we notice a warming sensation but it is a fun tool to moisturize the mouth and calms my gag reflex.
The cooling lubricant should be used sparingly as in a large dollop it can burn rather than provide a tingling sensation. It feels like pure menthol and stung both my vaginal tissues and his penis. It was enough to almost put Sigel off lubricants all together! Used sparingly on the nipples it gives an interesting cooling sensation but it doesn't taste all that great, I prefer the strawberry cheesecake.
All in all I was pleased with the Strawberry cheesecake oil and the spice massage oil but the lubricant isn't very nice at all. I recommend experimenting with the lubricant carefully.
The oils do wash off easily with soap and water but don't seem to irritate the skin if left on. The oils are thicker than others I have tried but they are smooth and it doesn't require a whole handful to achieve a lovely surface for a deep tissue massage.

We have used up most of the oils in this kit and though it was pleasant enough as a kit we haven't felt any need to replace the oils. There are simply too many other oils out there that are better quality. I still recommend this product for couples who are interested in trying out new and different oils and lubes but for us the Kama Sutra oils are better. This oil can irritate ultra sensitive skin and nasal passages though it is a mild irritation. I, personally like the oils but some of the items in this kit have caused some mild discomfort for Sigel and Arch overtime which could be a symptom of the oil breaking down or just more noticeable as we have bought higher quality products.

The fact that the spice oil smells better after being heated up on the skin is a bonus cause it really did smell like a cardboard box straight out of the package!
