extremely useful review
I absolutely LOVE giving massages. And I usually don't even bother with a massage oil because I seem to always have a problem with the texture of them and they usually feel much too greasy to me. Another common problem I have is the scent. It's either too masculine or feminine. Well, I finally found a massage oil that has caught my interest and has made me enjoy using it! It makes me anxious to try the other KamaSutra products. I would recommend this one to anybody.

First of all the scent is just right. I tried "Serenity" and it is neither too masculine or too feminine. The scent is strong enough without being overpowering and it stays with you long after you use it. It's very natural and sensual and definitely improves the mood. I absolutely love it. I always hate finding oils that seem to either have too strong of a scent or have a fruity scent. Neither of which I want to smell on my man during a long sensual massage.

The texture is amazing! Although it's classified as a massage oil, it's by no means too oily. There's plenty of slip to work with, but it doesn't coat your body in a sticky oil that's hard to get off and clogs your pores. It has a very thick velvety texture and feels amazing on the skin. I also have sensitive skin and it didn't break me out. Which is always a good thing. Depending on how much you apply will depend on how long the product lasts. I'm used to giving massages with no extra help, so I used very little and it still seemed to last quite awhile. I'm sure with a larger amount it could last as long as you need it to, but I only needed to use about a dime size amount.
Follow-up commentary
This is still one of my favorite massage oils. It's so silky and dries so nicely. The skin absorbs it and it doesn't leave a greasy feel. I have other massage oils that I like, but this one is still by far my absolute favorite! I've tried many others around the same price range and I wasn't nearly as impressed. It's certainly worth the money! I tend to break out with any oil depending on the day and how my skin is behaving, but it seems that this oil is better about it than most others. I think it's because the skin absorbs it better and it doesn't just sit on the surface. It's so light and breathable, but has a wonderful texture and slip to it that makes massages feel comfortable and luxurious!

I've been really happy with the KamaSutra products I've tried, so it doesn't surprise me that this oil works so well. Good review; thanks :)

I've heard such great things about this oil. I'm considering it for next months to-buy list.

It's definitely worth it! And a little goes a long way. I STILL haven't gotten to try the massage creams and I really want to!

  • Sensual Massage Oil- What the heck do they smell like?
    • Sensual Massage oil has a nice little selection of scents...
Here's the problem- There are 5 scents to choose from, but no way to know what each one smells like! There is no description of any kind! And most of the names (Pleasure Garden, Healing Blend, Serenity and soaring Spirit) give no hint as to what scents they include!
Does anyone know of a website/page that describes each scent option better than EF's product page?

Ah, you're right! I read the first 3 reviews that had been posted on this product, and was discouraged when they didn't describe all 5 scents. After reading your response, I decided to go through and read every review for this product, in search of descriptions.

      "~Purple- Healing Blend
"Rich blend of essential oils for soothing muscles and restoring harmony."
This scent is very relaxing and warm. This is a great scent for when you want to relax and unwind. It has elemi, clary sage, clove, and nutmeg. It's a warm and sensuous nutmeg/clove scent. It makes you feel warm and sleepy.
      ~Turquoise- Soaring Spirit
"Invigorating blend of pure essential oils to energize and refresh."
This scent contains scent notes of citrus, geranium, ginger and fennel. This scent makes you feel clean and awake! To me it smells like strong peppermint.
      ~Orange- Sweet Almond
"Sensual combination of calming oils for relaxation and de-stressing."
This one smells exactly like almond extract. I love that smell! It contains the oils of sweet almonds, vitamin E, and skin smoothing emollients.
      ~Green- Pleasure Garden
"Aromatic mix of pure essential oils for sensual and seductive intimacy."
This one contains oils from Italian bergamot, ylang ylang, neroli, rose, lavender, and sandalwood. To me it smells like a sexy blend of sandalwood and lavender. It's very warm and cozy.
      ~Blue- Serenity
"Soothing mixture of pure essential oils for quieting body and soul."
It contains oils from warm cedar, sweet marjoram, orange, and lavender. I think this one smells the lightest and kinda smells like a mix of sweet almond and healing blend. It doesn't smell unique. It's a very relaxing scent and it's the lightest."

"The sweet almond is the most simple of the oils. While the Pleasure Garden is italian jasmine, rose, lavender and sandalwood; the Soaring Spirit is fruity with orange, lemon, peppermint, spearmint, geranium, ginger and fennel; and the Healing Blend is more of a woodsy smell with lavender, cardamom, rosemary, marjoram, elemi, clary sage, black pepper, clove, nutmeg, juniper and pine."

I wanted to share those two descriptions, in case someone else is wondering what they smell like and (like me) doesn't think to read through ALL the reviews for a description. :)
