Treasures of the sea - sensual kit discontinued by Kama Sutra - review by Mitzuki

For starters, I am not a big fan of taking a bath, mainly because it hurts my back. Now as long as I use this absolute treasure, taking a bath is my go to relaxation method! This is, by far, the best bath salt mix I have ever used! This product will work for just about anyone who wants to take some time to relax. After I get out of this blue bath, I feel totally refreshed and relaxed. I have pretty sensitive skin and a few allergies, but I was in no way irritated or bothered by treasures of the sea. (I have had reactions to other bath salts prior, which is how I know!)

The texture is soft, and even if it's dry it isn't irritating! It easily dissolves in warm water after some swirling. There are bigger salt/crystal like things in mixture, but they dissolve in a few minutes of sitting in the bath. The first time I went to scoop some into my bath, I did spill some, just because it was filled to the top! If done right over the bath, it won't be messy at all. (I got mine on the floor, but it was very easily swept up!) It makes the water feel really soft and comfortable. It also leaves a lovely bunch of bubbles at the top of your water!

I have a very keen sense of smell, so I'm always unsure of using new products if I don't know what they'll smell like. Treasures of the sea has a very soft, ocean like smell to it. It's very hard to describe what it actually smells like, because I can't pinpoint where I would smell something like this before. It reminds me of the ocean, mixed with some soft smelling flowers. It isn't strong or overpowering, but it does have a scent that is very pleasing.

I've gone through a few baths now, and I've only made a dent into the product itself. As far as in the bath itself, it lasts the whole extent of my bath, which is about 30 minutes at a time. There's no need to wash off afterwards, it leaves a pleasant soft feeling to your skin! I think the two things I like the best of how soft it makes the water, and that it turns the water blue! I haven't had any cons with this product yet!

The product is packaged very simply in a twist cap plastic jar. It's held up to me dropping it a few times due to slippery hands, of course! The jar itself is a decent size, but fits easily on the ledges of your bathtub. It comes with a real seashell scoop, which is super adorable. There are no instructions on how much of this product to use in a bath, but one seashell full will do the trick! The label says KamaSutra on it, which I have no problem with anyone seeing that. It also says 'Luxury Bathing Kit' on it as well.
