Purpose / Audience

The Cosmo's Steamy Sex game cards are geared mostly towards beginners that are pretty new within their relationship. There are 12 games that will help you to explore your lover and to get to know their desires, fantasies and a little more about their "sexual/sensual style". There are different levels of "intensity" within the cards, so the more you keep playing, the spicier it gets!

What I like about this game is that you can mix them up, follow along through all the games or you can make up your own rules as you go!

Design

The game is housed in a really nice, cardboard type box set. The side flap opens the front of the box to reveal a see through window (to view the cards) and on the inside flap it is color coded to what cards are for what game. This game is really easy to follow and learn. The side flap (the open end) has a magnet inside of it, to help keep the "box set" closed securely so that no cards fall out. Close the flap and it "snaps" shut! This is an easy box to set up on a bookshelf or store in a bedside table or dresser drawer. I would say that it is travel friendly in the sense that it is compact and enclosed securely so that nothing will fall out. The box itself is pretty sturdy too.

Experience

My husband and I are pretty open sexually with each other. We have been together for three years, married for almost one and have two children together. Some of the cards were pretty fun, but for the most part it didn't have anything in there that we haven't done, tried or talked about really. So, we found most of the cards to be pretty dull for us. However, if you're in a newer relationship, I would say that some of these cards would really get things going and definitely benefit you!

Follow-up commentary I don't like it anymore 17 days after original review

Hubby and I played with these cards a few times since we got them, but to be honest, I think that we'll be giving these to our couple friends. The cards are nice and some of them have really great suggestions, games or tasks on them, but its geared mostly for newbie relationships. We've been together for three years, two kids and married, so I can safely say that we're out of that "newlywed" phase! Cute deck though. Love the case! Makes it super easy to store. We just put these on our little night stand that has an underside for storage/books or whatever we want to put in there. Sets up really nice. The box does tend to come open though sometimes. Its not easily opened on its own, but if its knocked over, it will come undone.
