Nice and Relaxing

These bath salts are a great way to create a sensual atmosphere for your bath. The aromas are very strong, so you won’t need to use a lot at one time.

Use

These bath salts from Venus are a great way to spice up a bath. The aromas are strong, but oh so refreshing. There is a wide selection of scents to choose from so I went with the green tea.

Ingredients: Dead sea salt (magnesium chloride 32%, potassium chloride 22%, sodium chloride 7%, calcium chloride .45%, sodium bromide .2%), fragrance
May contain: fd&c yellow 3, fd&c blue 1, fd&c red 33.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The salts are quite large, and it feels as though I’m sticking my finger in a jar of little pebbles. Once you add them to a bath, they dissolve, leaving behind a beautiful scent. Best of all, these salts don’t leave any residue, so a quick rinse of the tub after your bath will do the trick.

Taste / Aroma

I’m not interested in tasting this product because it is not edible, but the green tea smells amazing. It smells exactly like the green tea perfume made by Elizabeth Arden. It’s quite strong, so the scent will last throughout your entire bath time.

Performance

Other bath salts I have use have a “barely there” aroma to them, so I was quite surprised at how strong these are. If you are sensitive to fragrances, this definitely is not the product for you. The smell will last for your bath and linger on the skin afterwards.

This doesn’t come with any scoop, so you’ll have to use a spoon or your fingers. I have a shell shaped scoop I got from another jar of bath salts. The scoop holds about a tablespoon of salts, so two scoops is enough for me. The salts don’t foam up or create any bubbles, but I guarantee the scent will last.

I have been extremely happy with all of the Venus products I’ve tried, so if you are looking for a gift for someone, getting these salts and including a body wash, body scrub, or body butter would make for an excellent gift set.

Packaging

The jar contains 16 ounces (1 lb) of bath salts, so these will last quite a while. There is nothing on it to show you got it at a sex shop, so feel free to leave these out.

Nice review, I have been wanting to try these out. I have a few questions, it's hard to tell from the product page, but is there any coloring to the salt crystals/rocks? If there is, does the bath water change in color at all? Have you noticed any changes on your skin, for example---does your skin seem softer, healthier, smoother, cleaner etc since you have been using this product?
