This product is very good for beginners. It's easy to use, easy to clean, and not too complicated. Sometimes the clamp falls apart, but it is really easy to put together again.

Sometimes the bottom piece falls off.
These were the very first nipple clamps that I had ever purchased. They are really easy to use and really quite basic. Just twisting one little piece gives you many different levels intensities. This product could be used by men or women, alone or during sex. Overall, it is a wonderful little gadget.
The chain can be rather cold if it has been in a cooler room, which can give a bit of a shock. This can actually be a good thing to help harden the nipples and make this easier to put on them. Also, the cold chain can be giving a more intense orgasm from the temperature difference.
I usually would use these along with another type of stimulus, like a clitoral vibrator and dildo. This would give the most intense orgasm because of the 3 places all being stimulated at the same time. They do have a fair amount of weight to them, but they are not too heavy. Though they are really nice, I have not gotten the same satisfaction with just the clamps themselves. They are a very good addition to what a person already does.

these would allow a little room to "breathe" as well as being wide mouthed, as it were. I don't know about the chain length, but you could solve that with a wire cutter in two seconds.
