Nice little addition

Overall, I would have to say that these are a nice little addition, the price is decent and its a good "mood setter". Personally, I would not purchase them again simply because I prefer the soy and would like them to last a little longer.

These Floating heart candles were a cute idea for my husband and I to try out. We're not really the type to do the "romantic stuff" simply because we lack the time. We have children in the house often too, so that doesn't help to give us some "romance time". However, if you have the time to do a pretty set up, these would work great for you! Theres many different ways these candles can be used.

1.Bathtub-Would work best if you were alone in the tub though. My tub is quite small and wouldn't fit us AND the candles. If you use these for the tub, I would suggest that you draw a bath for your partner or yourself, sprinkle in some bath salts or oils and place these candles in the tub. Dim or turn off the lights and voila! You have a romantic setting fit for a Queen! And of course, I'm sure they will appreciate all the trouble you went through!

2.Any Glass Dish/Bowl: Place in a glass dish or bowl with water. Maybe add some flower petals (fake or real) as well! This is a great addition to any countertop, coffee table or other areas in your home that you'd like to add a little something to. Because these come in different colors, you can choose which suits your household best. You could even get a few different colors to give it a little spice!

3. Surfaces around the bed or other areas: Yes, they are made for floating. However, Im sure that they would add just as much to the atmosphere if you were to place them beside the bed or couch for a romantic atmosphere during sex, foreplay or even watching a movie! Be creative, these are a great way to add a little something to your night!

A little about these candles: They float and they are UNSCENTED (Which I found to be a plus and a negative). If you are using scented massage oils or other scented candles around the room, they will not mix or mess up the scents that are roaming about. However, if you prefer scented candles, then I would not suggest these.

They are a wax candle (I prefer soy), and they are meant to burn for roughly 2 hours (which I found to not be the case, mine didn't last more than an hour or so.) and they are just under 2 inches in diameter which would equal roughly the size of a regular tea light candle.

Overall, I would have to say that these are a nice little addition, the price is decent and its a good "mood setter". Personally, I would not purchase them again simply because I prefer the soy and would like them to last a little longer. They would make a nice addition to a gift set though. Maybe decorate a table at a wedding shower, baby shower or other event with them. Just lay them out. They are pretty for just that too.
Follow-up commentary
Nothing really new to report. Still not crazy about them. They are nice for decor, but that is about it.

I love all your suggestions for how to use these! I'm curious- what happens if you burn one out of water, does the wax run all over the place? Thanks for the review!

Hi Crystal! Thank you for the question. The wax will drip once it starts to burn to a certain point. I suggest putting some sort of saucer underneath it, or maybe even a thing of wax paper? Just in case, so it can catch the drips.

Thanks for the review. I was looking at these because they are so cheap but I don't really have a tub and I also love candles that burn longer so these won't work out that well. Thanks for the review, I learned all I needed to know : )
