Nice nuggets male comfort lotion by Doc Johnson - review by Penguin

After complaining that I couldn't find a good only male assignment, my girlfriend suggested this to me after reading a good review of it. I'm a very simple guy who could totally get by with a plain bottle of shampoo, deodorant, bar of soap, and toothpaste. I don't really have a need or desire to use anything other than the essentials. I don't even wear cologne. I'll swear I'm not wearing anything, but girls never believe me. At most, I'll use a scented deodorant. I didn't really see a huge need for this item, but decided that it would be worth a try. Maybe I was missing out on something...
I wasn't, but I can see another male finding a daily use for this. It works, but it takes a while to dry and I don't feel like waiting for something that I don't need anyways. I doubt I'll use all of this before it expires. When I do think I'll use this, it won't be for its intended use. The cream is a deodorizer that is designed to keep your balls dry and non-sticky, but it can be used anywhere and even works on feet.

INGREDIENTS---water, tapioca starch, isopropyl palmitate, tocopheryl acetate (vitamin e), aloe barbadensis leaf juice, acrylates/c10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, disodium edta, fragrance, sodium hydroxide, propylene glycol, diazolidinyl urea, methylparabel, propylparaben

Being part chemist I am always interested in ingredients. Overall, this has good ingredients. I'm not worried about using it. Tapioca starch is actually a food additive and thickening agent. It is what gives this creme a powdery feel after it dries. Isopropyl palmitate does similar things and also decreases static. Ingredients like Viamin E and aloe soften skin. Diazolidinyl urea is an excellent ingredient because it prevent bacterial growth which causes funky smells. Methylparabel and propylparaben are paraben preservatives. In some studies parabens have carcinogenic potential.

I expected this to be thick but it is thinner than I thought. You also don't need as much as the package says. It says to use a quarter size amount. That is way too much. It goes a long way. At first it will feel wet, but as it dries it feels like solid deodorant does with a powder feeling.

The smell quickly goes away a lot. It starts strong, but weakens with time and drying. It's a typical male smell. Since I don't own cologne I can't compare it to any. I can say that my partner likes it a lot. "It smells like sexy sexy man!" It smells good and isn't too musky. It's like a woodsy, slightly sweet, body wash scent.

I will only wear this if my girl puts it on me. Win win right? The first time she applied it, she read the instructions and applied it after my shower and used a quarter sized amount. I don't have small boys and the quarter sized amount was way too much. It took a really long time to dry. I didn't even want to try it again because it made me feel sticky at first. The second time we used only a few drops. She rubbed it in her hands and then handled my boys to apply it. This time it took about 30 seconds to dry, which is much for acceptable to me, but is still not something I want to wait for when I'm on the go. I tend to wait til the last minute to get ready.

I can say that throughout the day I didn't have to adjust myself as much because the powder preventing sticking from long sitting or lots of walking. My girlfriend said that at the end of the day, she could still smell it on me (wash yourself if you want oral for your balls - it is not safe to ingest). I got the idea to put it on my feet that get sweaty only in this one pair of slippers I have. I like them, but I don't like the feeling. Nice Nuggets kept my feet dry. I'll be using this on my feet a lot more than my junk because I don't find it necessary for my routine and I don't want to have to stop and wash it off if my girl and I get caught in the moment.

The packaging is good. It does same Nice Nuggets on the front, though. The expiration of 4/15/13 is printed on the back. The black bottle stands up and has a cap. The creme squeezes out easily. The size is 4 fluid ounces and is generous. I would still never pay this much for this in a store. It's easy to use, store, and travel with. It comes in a box that makes it nice as a gift.
