No food, what about paint?!

If you are looking for that item to help sweeten the time in the bedroom, this is a great choice! It tastes and smells amazing and is a lot of fun. It's a nice size and will go a long way. Come to think of it, it would make a great item to add for some bachelorette party fun.

Use

The name says it all! The Shunga body paint is used for sensual play to paint all over your lovers body. Use it to draw little pictures and have your lover lick its edible, flavorful paint up with their tongue. Although the bottle itself suggests other uses, I find this to be its best use, since it's the most common.

I would suggest this item for anyone who's looking for that little tasty extra to sweeten up their sex life. It can be used on both genders and by both genders without a problem. I would not suggest to diabetics though, due to its main ingredient being sugar. I also highly suggest for external use only, due to the sugar. It can be great for oral on a male, but I wouldn't risk it for oral on a female if she's prone to infections, since it could run down.

The bottle also suggests that you can use the paint for skin care and a face mask. Me, wondering how and why one would use sugar made body paint as a face mask, got curious. So, I looked it up, since there was no instructions for that play! First, I read the product information here, and got nothing. So I went to
Shunga's website. All the said there was "Combine adult play with romance. Use this aphrodisiac edible body paint to write love poems, draw hearts, flowers, and reveal your artistic side. It's insanely delicious." Lovely, but we already knew that, so I came up with nothing there, either. So I decided to read other's reviews to find out if they came across this as well, and they didn't really tell me much either. While testing it on my hand, I did not notice it being any smoother, so I'm guessing it's not for that. Maybe it's used to help with blackheads or something? If anyone finds this out, please do let me know. Maybe I'll test things out myself later and post in my followup.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The texture itself is a very good texture. It's kind of thick like melted chocolate, but it is needed since it's paint. It's thick enough that it doesn't run everywhere, but thin enough to where it allows you to paint all over your lover's body.

When I first looked at the bottle and the brush, I was thinking how much of a pain in the rear it seemed to get the paint out. But then my common sense kicked in and I just dipped the brush itself right in to the bottle and it worked perfectly! So there's no need for any extra dish, and no need to waste by pouring it out and not using all you poured!

As you're painting it across your lover's back, you can feel the smooth cool texture of the paint and the brush. If you wish, you can even use your finger and lick it up when you're done.

After you're done, clean up is as simple as licking it up and then wiping with a wet cloth. It is sticky due to all the sugar, so you will want to wipe it off afterwards.

The brush itself is pretty much a piece of foam paper tied on to a stick. As cheap as it seems, it is still nice.

Taste / Aroma

When you open the product, you are not overwhelmed with the smell, which is nice. As soon as you bring it close to your face though, you can smell its sweet aroma, more the vanilla than the chocolate. With the mix of flavors, it almost smells like white chocolate.

As soon as you taste it though, you remember why you got the product. It has a nice, warm, sweet taste to it that makes me just want to eat it instead of play! You taste more of the chocolate than the vanilla, but enough vanilla to make it not really chocolaty. And it makes me glad I chose this item!

Another thing I love about this product is it's not full of all sorts of unnatural products. All ingredients are things that are not out of the normal of our every day diet.

Ingredients: Sugar (sucrose), Water, Cacao (cocoa), Citric acid, Salt (sodium chloride), Potassium sorbate, Vanillin.

Performance

I very much liked this product's performance. It lasts a long time, since you don't really need a whole bunch at a time to paint. The brush, even as cheap as it looks, works wonders. If you wish, you can always use a different brush, as well.

Both your skin and the brush are very easy to clean. You can simply just lick up the edible paint and then wipe off with a wet cloth or an Eden Wipe.

The thing I love most about the product is its taste. It tastes amazing! I love some of the other products as well on here, but I think out of all the different ones, this one is my favorite for taste itself.

Packaging

When I got this item, I was disappointed about how it was packaged. The bottle itself is glass and the brush is just clipped on with plastic and was all thrown in to the box with everything else. Nothing was broken, but having its own little box in the box of everything else would have been nice. Or at least wrapped in plastic. The brush was detached, but it was still there. Also, think I would feel better about it if there was a safety seal showing it being unopened.

The bottle it is in, however, is adorable. It's a very nice shape and the cap is very cute. It doesn't seem to leak, which is good, since that's how it was in the box, so I'm glad it didn't leak all over everything.

If you keep the cheap plastic clip the brush is on, you can use it to reattach and store the brush on the bottle, which is very handy.

Being glass, it is easily recycled after empty.

It did NOT come with instructions, just suggestions for use. I just rinse the brush off with warm water after use.

How it came (reattached the brush):

    • Does not leak
    • Recyclable
    • Would make a nice gift
Follow-up commentary
I still love the taste and it's still lasting in the bottle. I'm glad I bought it! Now I want to try the strawberry one.
