No Soap Scum here!
Soft, flowery scents are not something I would buy for myself most of the time. However, this product is very high quality and makes a beautiful gift for anyone you know who likes this kind of scent. Once the soap is gone, they can continue to remember your thoughtfulness by using the box for storage. This makes a great gift for a special occasion or simply to say "I love you".Published: January 19, 2012

Use
Principessa Beauty has taken their award-winning Isolina fragrance and created bath bars with this soft, floral, Victorian scent.
The Isolina scent has violet leaves and mimosa as its top scent, along with rose petals and neroli as the middle scent and Heliotrope & precious woods for its base scent. The word Isolina means "little island". It is designed to be a blend of fragrances that are feminine, fresh, and floral but also have a powdery finish.
Each of these generous 5 ounce bars is wrapped in clear plastic. You can smell their fragrance as you open the box they come in.
The ingredients are:
Sodium Palmate, Sodium Palm Kernelate, Water, Glycerin, Fragrance, Palm Acid, Palm Kernel Acid, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) Fruit, Sodium Lactate, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Flour, Methyl Gluceth-20, Sodium CHloride, Titanium Dioxide, Tocopherol Acetate (Vitamin E), Red 33, Tetrasodium EDTA, Tetrasodium Etidronate.
Please note that, while this does contain glycerin, it has no phthalates, sulfates, or triclosan and is paraben free.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity
This soap has a luxurious feeling to it and a rich texture. I think this is due to the shea butter, sweet almond oil, Vitamin E, and aloe vera that is in it.
I lathered it up with a loofa/pouf and used it on one side of my body while I used this company's body wash on the other side of my body. Both products lathered up nicely; this lathered up almost as much as the creamy body wash that I was using.

Taste / Aroma
This product has a light flowery scent, but it is so strong when you are using it that it fills the room. After you are done washing with this soap and rinse and dry off, you can still smell it on your skin a little bit.
The scent filled the small enclosed shower that I was using and also spread into the rest of the bathroom.

Performance
The soap lathered up really well and worked great with the shower pouf. Based upon how much I used in this one shower, I would not be surprised if a bar of soap lasted for 6 months or so.
I did only use the soap on one side of my body and the creamy body wash by this same company on the other side of my body. When I got out of the shower, I did not tell my husband which side was which and asked him to feel my arms. He stated that he couldn't feel a difference between either of them. He knew something was different because I was asking him to test it; however, he said that both arms felt very soft and smooth.
The soap did not leave any residue on me that I could tell.

Packaging
Principessa Beauty did an excellent job packaging this soap and everything about this product, from the bow on top of the box, to the box itself to the plastic wrapped bars of soap, say "this is quality". The pink box is a little over 4" wide by 3" long by 2.5" deep. As soon as you remove the cover from the box, you can smell the soap inside.

Special Features
When I first saw the pink packaging, I couldn't help but think of Mary Kay products. Back in the 1980s and 1990s, Mary Kay products were pink. In fact, I think they had been pink since the company started decades earlier because Mary Kay wanted them to be pretty and stand out in the bathroom and most bathrooms were white back then.
I was wondering why Principessa Beauty chose to use pink for their packaging, so I went to their website. They have a page titled "Psychology behind the color pink", where they talk about what the color pink evokes in people and the type of people who like pink. While I'm not sure that I agree totally with all that they stated, I will agree the color pink can be tranquilizing, much as this soap can be when you use it.

Thank you for viewing Bellissima two bar set – soap review page!

How lovely this sounds, too bad my skin is far too sensitive, great review thanks.
Great review! This looks cute but not sure I could use it because my skin is so sensitive sometimes.
It does remind me of Mary Kay as well. I like soaps that leave a little smell on the skin after you dry off. Thanks for the review!
Great review!
another fabulous review, ms. thanks so much.
Lovely pictures and review!
such a cute product. Thanks for the review
I like this but the price seems kind of silly. Nice review.
Great review! I have the bubble bath in the matching scent, and I'll admit it: I want these soaps so bad!!
Great review. The packaging on this is adorable, too bad the scent is floral though.
Your ending comments are definitely interesting. Something I didn't know.
Cute, but it sounds like it'd be too strong for me. I don't like to smell my soap *after* I shower. I have potpourri for that.
Seems like it's just an expensive flowery scented soap..
Great review! Thank you for sharing. I just cannot see paying this much for bars of soap.
Nice review! Thanks for including pictures
Great review, thanks!
