Not too shabby! Not to shabby at all!

Imagine a little city of bacteria growing on your toys. How to be Godzilla and stomp them all out of existence? By cleaning your toys of course!!! If you don't have access to soap and running water, this might be a good alternative!

Welcome to the latest addition of Woman's Reviews!!!

Today we are going to be looking at Evolved Novelties Advanced Smart Cleaner!!! It's misting! It's antibacterial! It's alcohol free! It's disinfecting! It's toy sanitizing!

By the sounds of it? It almost sounds like it is the Super Grover of sex toy cleaners.

How to use this toy cleaner? Well, firstly, use your toys and enjoy getting off with them. Only once you have achieved your goal, take your toys to the sink, and follow the directions on the bottle: Remove batteries from toy. Spray desired amount of Smart Cleaner onto a clean damp cloth. Gently scrub the toy's surface, battery cap and threads thoroughly. Carefully rinse with warm water being careful not to get the battery compartment wet. Clean before and after each use to extend the life of your toy."

This toy cleaner is not a spray and wipe down kind of cleaner. This is a toy cleaner that still requires you to use water to finish the cleaning job.

Now, even though the instructions say to remove the batteries, if you have a rechargeable toy don't try to remove the batteries. That is so not covered under any warranty.

This cleaner is safe to use for all toy materials. Including silicone. Rubber. TPE. Plastic and more!

This cleanser is free of a lot of the ingredients that usually can cause some irritations. There are no glycerine, parabens, petroleum by-products, sodium lauryl sulfate, ethylene oxide and other carcinogens. Making it a safer alternative to a chemically rich toy cleaner. Annnd... to make it all sound better? It is ph balanced to boot!

This cleanser comes to you in a 4floz pump bottle and it has a quite plain label. I felt comfortable leaving it out in my bathroom for all to see as it was pretty discreet. It is basically scentless, it seemed to have a slight hint of a soapy smell. As with any cleanser used on your toys that have even the slightest hint of smell, make sure you rinse your toys VERY well. Scents have a habit of sticking around on toys after you wash them, and this is one of the causes of some of the infections out there. So be careful! Be sure to clean carefully around any ridges or bumps on your toy to get your body fluids off. Then make certain to rinse those areas extra well.

I found I only needed one to three pumps to wash average sized toys. With each pump, you get a fairly decent amount of cleanser on your toy.

Now. We've talked about the bottle, size and what is not included in this cleanser. So now let's now talk about the main cleaning ingredient for a moment, "triclosan". Medically speaking, it can kill MRSA, so it's a pretty dang powerful cleaning agent. But, to put it mildly, it really doesn't make your toys any more clean than using regular antimicrobial soap and water.
Experience
For me personally, I found that when I used this toy cleaner on my toys, I felt a strange almost burning itchy sensation when I used them. I tried a number of times to make sure it was the toy cleanser and not something else. And it was. There seems to be an ingredient in the cleanser that I am not aware of that I might be sensitive to.

The white pump bottle is a really nice sturdy plastic and the pump never clogged. I ended up emptying out the cleanser and refilling it with my usual tea tree oil soap. Out of all the toy cleaners I have bought, this bottle so far is my favourite.

I used it for about two months and the bottle still felt more than 3/4 full. So if you are thinking of getting this, it is long lasting!

I know I mentioned this above, but, I want to make sure that it's said plenty of times to make sure that it is well-known: buying the Smart Cleaner really doesn't make your toys any more clean than using regular antimicrobial soap and water.
