Antibacterial toy cleaner - cleansing mist by Doc Johnson - review by Airen Wolf

This is one of those products I would never have thought I needed before reading the forums and the reviews! I never used toys much cause I would get so irritated, I never put it together that it could be the soap I was using to clean them that was causing the problem. I use a special sensitive skin soap to clean my vaginal area and it never occurred to me that on plastic it might leave a residue. After reading some of the reviews on the site, I chose Anti bacterial toy cleaner by Doc Johnson. The price was right to give it a shot and the reviews it got were encouraging.

I didn't expect the bottle to be as big as it is, on the site it looks much smaller. It has a pump action spray and has almost no discernible smell. Another plus in my book as my nose is rather sensitive to chemicals. I sprayed a bit on the inside of my arm to test for allergic reaction. After a few hours there was still no reaction so I set about cleaning my toys. The instructions on the bottle stated that one should hold the bottle 6" or so from toy. Spray without drenching and either air dry or wipe with a soft cloth. With this product, there is no need to rinse after. I gave it a try on my oldest "friend" and noted as I took it out of it's box that it was a bit lusterless and looking it's age. After I finished wiping it down, I was amazed at how shiny and clean it looked. The cleaner took off all the soap residue and left the toy sparkling. I tried it on all my toys and they smelled so fresh and clean after!

Another small benefit was the fact that I had a toy that I had recently bought that had a very strong smell to it. I washed it with this cleaner and my whole closet lost that icky rubber smell! I was very impressed by that. It doesn't take much to clean the toys and seems as though it will last a good long time.

After a year and eight months this is still my go to toy cleaner for every toy that can't be washed under running water. A little goes a VERY long way and in all that time I am only on my second bottle! I have never had any adverse reaction to the cleaner and neither have my guys. I still recommend this cleaner for its light clean scent and ability to make a toy shine like brand new with a small amount.
