Oh How I Love Me Some Cocoa Butter!

Loved it! Not Soap Radio doesn't chap your lips, and helps to moisturize them. This also smells really good as well. I am sure you would love this just as much as I did. It will also make a great gift for anyone looking to keep their lips in good condition.

Use

If you are looking for something for dry or chapped lips, this would be a great product. I myself have dry and chapped lips and have a hard time finding balms or glosses to use on them. So I wanted to give this a try because I use Cocoa butter lotion for my dry skin and I use the Cocoa butter stick for stretch marks or scratches and bruises and they work. Well I am glad I decided to give this a go, it works really well and does not dry out my lips and leaves a nice feel to them during use.

Here is a pic on my lips.

To get this out you can use your finger and move it around the balm. It looks thick in the container but it really is not, when you put your finger in swirl it around to get some on there to apply to lips. The only thing it took me maybe three times to get it out because I just did not want a whole bunch on my hands. It does not feel sticky at all or feel like Beeswax. Nor did it feel greasy to me, you can see that it is a little bit oily but not as bad as some balms. You could also use a lip brush if you don't want to use your fingers.

Taste / Aroma

When I opened it up to smell it I can smell the cocoa butter, when I applied it to my lips the smell was a little bit stronger but not in a bad way. It actually smells pleasant. Also on my lips I did notice a little bit of the almond smell. My son even tried some and also noticed the Almond smell more then the Cocoa smell.

As for the taste, I can taste the cocoa beans in it. The taste is not too bad either. I keep licking my lips which I need to stop doing because I am licking it off and having to reapply more.
    • Smells good

Performance

The balm lasted me about a half an hour to 40 minutes. It could be because I smoke and I was extra thirsty that day. I did notice that it came off on my cup when I drank, also with the cigarette it came off on there too. Maybe if I did not do these things it would have lasted longer, but with it being so light on lips I decided to just reapply when I started losing velocity.

I have been using it day after day and my lips feel so good. It is amazing for moisturizing them. I did not have to worry about removing it I just let it disappear on it's own. If you wanted to take it off you might have to use soap and water and scrub it off.
    • Absorbs into skin nicely
    • Feels natural
    • Needs to be washed off with soap and water

The lip balm comes in a container that is 1/3 ounces. On the front it is yellow and has writing on it that says "Not Soap Radio" and has a lip on it. On the back there is the ingredients on a white sticker.

Personal comments

I can't wait to try the rest of the Not Soaps Radio collection for lip balm. I just hope the rest of them live up to this one. These will be great gifts to all my friends back home and family.
Follow-up commentary
I am glad to see a lot of members have tried this and enjoyed it. I am still glad I went with this purchase, and it still keeps my lips nice and smooth. My daughter even loves it. She tries to bite my finger every time I try to put it on her lips, and when she has it on she licks it off. I know how she feels, because I do the same.

Great review. I just finished reading Beck's review of this same product and you both have me wanting to tyr this out. I'm terrible with leaving lipbalms in my pocket and forgetting about them and end up washing/drying them.
