Oh No! It’s Too Slick!

The Ono Massage Oil is a good choice for massage enthusiasts. The oil is really thin and watery but if you look beyond that, it has a nice scent and makes the skin feel really soft and smooth.

Use

The Ono Massage Oil from Lelo can be used for all over body massages and is great to use after a shower or after bathing. It is really nice for the skin but be sure to check the ingredients to make sure you aren’t allergic to anything. I recommend doing a spot test on your arm before using it everywhere. Do not use internally or as a lubricant.

I chose the French vanilla / Jojoba scent but it is also available in Jojoba / Lemon grass and Jojoba / Red mandarin.

Ingredients: Apricot kernel oil, grape seed oil, jojoba oil, perfume(benzyl benzoate, vanillin).

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The texture to this oil is obviously oily but it is more watery than most. It comes out of the tube quickly and easily runs through the fingers. The oil is completely smooth so it can be easily rubbed in. It takes a while to absorb, but once it does, it makes my skin feel very soft.

Taste / Aroma

The French vanilla scent is quite lovely. It’s a light scent which I truly appreciated. The scent can cling to clothing and sheets but it doesn’t stain. This is also not an edible oil.

Performance

I’ve tried the Lelo Flickering Touch Massage Oil a while ago and while I didn’t like that oil too much, I liked this one even less. It smells similar to the Sensuous massage oil, but the Lelo’s don’t absorb as quickly.

The tube contains 2.5 ounces of oil which I went through quickly because I always got more than my intended amount. The only thing I liked about this oil was the scent. Personally I found it to be too slick but that will be a pro for others. It’s inexpensive and worth checking out if you’re curious but it’s not my favorite oil. I much prefer the Shunga oils and the Kama Sutra oils.

Does this smell.. fake? Many french vanillas are very artificial smelling.
