Shunga exotic massage oil by Shunga Erotic Art - review by Lil

Made in Canada, the Shunga Erotic Massage Oil contains a variety of natural oils and perfume designed to satisfy your massage needs with a light, long-lasting oil without an overpowering fragrance. It lists it's ingredients as Sweet Almond oil, Grapseed oil, Seasame oil, Avocado oil, Safflower oil, Vitamin E, and Ylang Ylang (an aphrodisiac). The packaging is simple and satisfactory a plastic 8 oz bottle, tall and thin, with a Japanese erotic Shunga print on the label.

I stored mine in my nightstand drawer and I laid it down. After a few weeks I noticed my papers in the drawer were damp and sticky and upon looking at the bottle it seemed to be leaking from the cap. I lost about half the bottle in the drawer because I had it laying down and rolling around with other things. Other people didn't seem to have this problem and honestly I can be kind of tough on my personal possessions. Also it was in the drawer with a lot of other items, maybe something jammed the cap and broke it. So while I had a minor tragedy, I'm not convinced it's the bottles fault. But if you can I'd recommend storing it upright because a lot of oil bottles tend to leak, even if it's just a little, and you don't want to waste it.

I got the peach flavor and the scent is very light and non-oppressive. It doesn't have that sickly sweet candy like smell that some do, but I find that mine smells a little more like apricots than peaches, but I love it. The oil itself is light and gold colored, not syrupy or dyed with artificial colorings (according to the ingredients anyhow).

It's just the right consistency without giving you that sticky residue on your body which makes your sheets feel all gross and dirty. I can put a light coating of oil on my skin and it feels moisturizing and smooth, not too heavy like the Kama Sutra oils can be. A little drop can do my whole leg too so I feel like I'm getting a lot of bang for my buck. Just remember to spread it out a lot because you can over-saturate one area but if you just keep rubbing it in you won't use a lot and you'll get great friction from the moderate amount of oil. Using it that way, it lasts for about 20-30 minutes, which is perfect for me but if you want it to last an hour or more I'd reapply.
