Making love massage oil - oil discontinued by Beyond All Expectations - review by markeagleone

OK, if you have read some of my reviews before, I like to give the reason why my wife and I chose the product . My wife likes some pampering, and her favorite way is the good old massage. It is then, no wonder how this ended up in our hands. On to the review:

Making Love Sensually Flavored Massage Oil is made by Beyond All Expectations. Now, I have to say that as a massage oil, it's not the top of the line. It is quickly absorbed into the skin, so plan on using more of the product for those special times.

This particular oil is great for applying as a moisturizer. It is quickly absorbed into the skin, and leaves no sticky residue. It also has the sweet smell of vanilla, but it's not overpowering.

I recommend this oil to anyone, who wants to care for themselves. Especially those people who suffer through dry, cold winters , or those who live in an arid climate.

This particular massage oil feels like it is, an oil. It is extremely easy to pour and will not stay in place on a someone's body. It has an extremely smooth feel to it and it is great for massages, but as I stated before, you must use a bit more of the product, as it is quickly absorbes into dry skin.

The best part of this product is the after affects, or more to the point, the lack of. When this product is absorbed into the skin, there are no greasy or sticky residues left behind. It is completely absorbed in, leaving your skin feel soft and supple.

For my wife's massage, I ended up using about 1/6 of the bottle. Most of that was probably due to my hands absorbing much of the oils. The nice thing about this oil, was that even after it absorbed its way in, I could continue for a time, due to the fact that it did leave her skin soft and smooth.

First, I will go into the smell of this product. There is quite the smell of vanilla when actually smelling the product in its bottle. It's not strong enough, though, to be unpleasant. When I applied it to my wife's body, the smell again was not overpowering. As the oil absorbs into the skin, it leaves a scent of vanilla behind. I would say it's slightly less than the scent of vanilla extract, when someone is baking.

I actually did get a very good taste of this product the nights of her massages. There is a slight taste of vanilla, but it also leaves the mouth with a kind of oily feel to it. I, however, did not find any displeasure with that, and it did not become to the point where I would say enough is enough. It was just the opposite. Overall, I would have to say this is one of the better products for edible massage oils.

The Making Love Massage oil had one slight draw-back as far as performance goes. It did take a bit more oil in the massage department. It is quickly absorbed into the skin, so I had to use a greater quantity to complete the massage. Don't get me wrong, we are not talking that much of a greater quantity.

I had no clean-up with this oil, as it went directly into her skin. For me, it was just wipe my hands off. I found no need to wash. It does leave a scent after using, but it's not strong or an annoyance.

The great thing about this oil is that it can also be used anytime throughout the day or night. It is not limited to massages, but can be used as a moisturizer and skin softener at any time. It leaves your skin soft and with a healthy shine.

As I said before, even after the oil absorbed into her skin and my hands, there was no real need to reapply in a hurry. It left both of our skin soft, and smooth, so the massage could continue. It was nice in the fact that it didn't leave an oily, sticky mess behind.

The bottle this product comes in is quite simple. It has a white push down to pop up lid. The bottle is 1 3/4 inches in diameter and 7 inches tall(lid included). It contains 8 fluid ounces. The oil itself, is slightly yellowish in color.

The bottle has an old time black and white picture of a man and a woman on the front. The bottle has orange, purple and a dark pink for colors. The words are in white.

The bottle lists the ingredients. It also states it was made by Beyond All Expectations and is a product of the U.S.A., and also says that it never becomes sticky or tacky and has long lasting lubricity.

The product's name gives it away, as far as being discreet. The bottle itself is not an eye catcher. I guess as far as leaving it in the open, would be dependent on whether or not you have little ones around that can read or not.

OK, this is the point I chose to talk about ingredients. They are: Safflower oil, Coconut oil, Avocado oil, Apricot Kernal oil, Tocopherol, Vegetable oil, Glyceryl Oleate, T-Butyl Hydroquinomone, citric acid, Saccharin, Ginseng, and natural and artificial flavors.

I want to zero in on the Tocopherol. Tocopherol is a compound that has Vitamin E activity. It is been shown to be an important factor concerning infertility and miscariages, or so the original tests have shown. It is an important vitamin for neural-muscular pathways. It is also classified as an antioxidant and has shown that it may prevent certain cancers. Some other studies show that it may be helpful with Alzheimer's, but that is under debate.

The reason I chose to present this to you, is that most Americans are trying to eat healthy. Low-fat diets and cooking without vegetable oil could put you lacking in this vitamin. I found it quite amazing that this manufacture added this to the ingredient list. So, for all you out there, this is one product you can have fun with and get your added vitamin intake at the same time!

My wife asked for a massage and this is the one I picked. She ordered this oil for that purpose. I thought that it would be too runny, for the purpose of massaging, but I was wrong. It is a bit on the runny side, but it worked great. I had to use a bit more than other oils we have used, but the results were terrific.

It left a slight scent behind as it was fully absorbed. She did not need to take a shower after the massage and we quickly started our love making session. This oil did not leave a bad taste in my mouth, nor did I hesitate to do what I like best.

All in all, this will get a lot of use from us and I hope the line sticks around here at Eden. It is a great product, in this reviewers experience. Now, on to my beloved wife:

I love buying products that force my husband to give me massages. I feel guilty all the way up to the point that the massage starts, then I no longer care. I purchased this, not only because of the price, but I love the smell of vanilla. This was a perfect combination for me to indulge myself greedily.

The massage oil did seem to get sucked into my skin rather quickly, but I have dry skin so I expect that to happen. Once more oil was added my body no longer absorbed it, but rather led to a very sensual and smooth massage. It was getting the right amount that was the key to this being a good product.

The smell is one that I love. It does smell like the pure vanilla I use when baking. This oil is not overpowering to the senses and leaves a hint behind on your skin. The oil also doesn't taste bad at all. When I tested the taste, it had the obvious "oil" feel, but you can taste the vanilla. The overall experience to the senses provided a deeper, relaxation quality to the whole massage.

The massage oil could be felt dripping, if it was over-applied in a spot. One thing this oil does is produce a very even glide to your massages, once the appropriate balance of oil is found. I didn't feel sticky, or the urge that I had to immediately rinse the stuff off, which is perfect for my dislike of transitions in moments like these. It left my skin feeling soft, glistening, and moisturized. Now, I enjoy using it when I get out of the tub. This oil is a very nice affordable way to pamper yourself.

I would recommend this to anyone who can not turn down a good massage. There is only one thing that I didn't care for with this massage oil and that was that the bottle does get a residue on it. It makes it slick enough to accidentally drop. You can easily wipe the bottle off and then store it away. Unlike my husband, I would only leave this bottle out if you don't mind someone seeing "Making Love Massage Oil" on the bottle.

I plan on keeping this one on hand at all times, maybe even a spare bottle just in case. It really was a gem of a find for me, and I love every moment of using it, no matter what that use may be.
