oooh smooth soft and smells great too!

This is a great after shave or wax product- it really does work- just spray the entire area where hair has been removed and be left with a nice smooth- red bump free zone. Smells great too! Formulated for all skin types and made with almost all botanical ingredients.

Plainly put, Simply Sensual botanical after shave and protection mist is a fresh smelling, astringent spray that you apply after shaving as part of your regimen.
Try it on your legs, armpits or crotch (ahem, I mean underarms and bikini zone)and if you have a few stray hairs on your chin try it there too!!
First shave with a fresh multi blade razor, warm water and your fav shave cream (Simply Sensual makes this one but I tried it with this one. Personally I think the cheap drugstore stuff works best.)
The whole point of this stuff is too tighten your skin without leaving any redness or bumps or developing ingrown hairs and it does this quite well.
How does it smell? Well that's the best part it smells great clean and fresh with a hint of fruit floral- def feminine but not super girly if you know what I mean. No reason to taste it but I'm sure it would be distinctly chemical - like alcohol and soap.
It's clear and quite thin. Most of it evaporates on contact. It's not sticky, greasy or tacky.
It does sting a bit and apparantly this was supposed to happen but it seemed to tighten my pores so that little tiny droplets of blood appeared which isn't very hygienic if its your bikini zone and you're having any sexual contact. I guess the best thing to do is make sure that you give yourself at least 10-15 min between application and play as the whole point is to seal everything up and prevent infection as well as aid in the prevention of ingrown hairs.

The ingredients are lengthly and seem like a lot of great stuff as opposed to just a bunch of chemicals:
Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Propylene Glycol, Polysorbate 20, Laendula Angustifolia (Lavender) Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Maticaria) Flower Extract, Glycynhiza Glarbal Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glarbal (Licorice) Root Extract, Echinacea Agustifolia Extract, Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Germ Extract, Rubus Idaeus (Raspberry) Fruit Extract, Epilobium Angustifolium Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract, Lilum Candidum Bulb Extract, Salvia Officinalis (Sage) Leaf Extract, Trifolium Pratense (Clover) Flower Extract, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Lavandula Angusifolia (Lavender) Oil, Benzyl Alcohol, Polyquaternium-10, Potassium Sorbetat, Disodium EDTA.
The only thing that stands out to me is the glycerin as it is known to cause yeast infections when used in the vulvar area but it all depends on how sensitive your PH is, and the alcohol but any alcohol has the same risks.

It came from Edenfantasys in a 4floz spray bottle slipped inside a clear plastic bag and sealed with a small piece of tape- I guess to prevent spills during shipping.
The label is simple and pretty- pinks and peaches. It is quite informative but the font is so tiny that even with 20/20 vision you may need a magnifying glass to read it all. It boasts of being 'botanical' and reading the ingredient list it is definitely that. It also says that it is formulated for all skin types including the most sensitive but I rarely have dermal reactions to products so I'm not the best judge.

It does contain alcohol and some does dissolve on contact but I like to briskly rub it in. The scent is light and washes off easily.
Experience
I had never previously tried an aftershave before- always seeing it as a guy thing but I have to say it was a mostly pleasant experience. Simply Sensual is an awesome brand and this purchase has inspired me to acquire more.
After shaving with a brand new 5 blade disposable razor and Jo Dona shave gel I sprayed several squirts of the Simply Sensual luxe after shave & wax protection mist which stung quite a bit. Next thing I knew little tiny droplets of blood appeared - I guess a result of the instant tightening of my pores and raw skin from the razor. This worried me as I was seconds away from engaging in sexual contact. I wiped it off with a toy wipe and it did not reappear. I rubbed the remainder in to my legs and they did feel smoother- best was the nice light fresh smell.
The next day I was pleased to see no redness, irritation or bumps of any sort. Since I used this in conjunction with a shave gel and Coochy powder, I'm not sure which made the biggest difference in a near perfect shaving result but the spray was definitely easier to apply than the powder.

Thanks for a great review. I had a previous girlfriend who broke out after shaving. This looks good for preventing that.

I may just have to try this one. I always get razor bumps no matter where I shave or what I use, but I have never tried a product like this. Thanks for the review.
