Oooh so soft!

This product is great for anyone who is looking for a heavy scent to wear. I was expecting fruit or tropical notes, and my sense of smell is overwhelmed with coconut and tropical notes that don't seem to mesh well for me.

Use

As I stated in the review for the shampoo from Princepessa, this is an Italian-Inspired line of ultra-feminine products that are made in the United States, using mostly natural or organic ingredients. Most if not all of their line comes packaged in pink/white, pink/black color schemes. This is the conditioner of the set, which is scented with their signature fragrance, Isolina.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The conditioner is similar to a repairing formula, like Aussie 3-minute Miracle. Just squeeze a bit out of the tube and into your hand, rub your hands together, and then spread evenly throughout your hair.

For those who have heavy or dense curls, this conditioner may be too light for you. For those with fine hair, less is definitely more, and it should only be left on for a minute or two instead of a full five minutes.

It's silky and easy to work through with your fingers; you could also use a comb to work it into your hair. It's a little heavier than Suave or White Rain conditioners, but not nearly as heavy as a Pantene Pro V conditioner and, after two weeks, there was minimal build-up on my scalp.

Taste / Aroma

The conditioner doesn't smell as strongly as the shampoo does and seems to have one or two extra ingredients that help with this. The Isolina fragrance is said to have top notes of mimosa and violet leaves, with middle notes of neroli and rose, and bottom notes or a base of precious woods and heliotrope. According to Fragrantica, heliotrope can waffle between smelling like marzipan, cherry pie, vanilla, or almonds.

Still, the fragrance lasts for hours, and it continues to remind me of my grandmother's perfume. It's not unpleasant, it's just unexpected.

Performance

It does leave my hair well conditioned and soft. I did not experience any build up or increased oil production on my scalp while using this; however, it lasted only about two weeks after showering daily. It's really easy to rinse out, and the tube is travel-friendly at 2 ounces.
