Flirty little secret firming bronzer with pheromones - cream discontinued by Booty Parlor - review by SparklingReviews

I had great hopes for Flirty Little Secret Firming Bronzer with pheromones. I figured it would have a light bronzing much like a powder, but would condition and firm my skin at the same time. I honestly can't tell you if the firming aspect works or not, because I couldn't leave the lotion on my skin.

This is an unscented lotion, that has a bronzing color. It comes in a squeeze bottle, that is very appealing in looks. It is black with gold lettering and is very generous in size. You get a total of 4.5 oz. This doesn't sound like much, but a little bit goes a really long way with this lotion. About a dime sized amount will easily cover your arms, and slightly larger will evenly coat the legs. It spreads on really easily and evenly.

Now to the bad aspects. I put this lotion on and was horrified. I was officially in the Willy Wonka club as an oompa loopa. I was so orange that the pumpkins were jealous! I am sure this maybe a better lotion on someone that has a deep tan or a darker skin tone. Unfortunately I am extremely pale. I thought that this lotion would somehow give my skin some color, that would add a slight glow to my skin. It did add color just not the color I was hoping for. It reminded me of a really bad sunless tanner.

The lotion was a little bit difficult to remove from my skin, it took about 20 mins of scrubbing to remove it, and I applied a very thin layer. So I am sure if this lotion works for you that it would last a while on the skin. I would not wear it to bed though, seeing as how much of an orange hue it has, I wouldn't want it on my sheets.

I don't know if the pheromones actually work or not because I immediately removed this lotion from my skin. Throughout the day after removing it, I did have a few friends and coworkers comment on how orange my skin still looked, and was asking if I had a sunless tanning mishap. So if you are trying this for the first time... make sure you don't have to go to work after applying it just in case it turns you orange.

I also wasn't fond of the unscented smell. It reminded me of the smell of foundation. It was a little chemically smelling. I think that this should have the option of being scented, even if it is just to cover up that scent.

If you are looking for a great shimmer lotion, I would try out Crazy Girl Body Shimmer lotion. It has a nice scent and adds a great glow to the skin.

I definitely would NOT buy this lotion again, and I would suggest it to anyone else either. I am glad I purchased it for myself before offering it to someone as a gift.

I am assuming that I got a defective bottle or it just so happens to oxidize on my skin because I tried it again, trying to give it the benefit of the doubt but nope... it turned my skin orange again!
