Organic lip balm - lip balm discontinued by Evolution of Smooth - review by IsabellaSmith

Not as great as I expected. Great packaging, fun flavor/scent ideas, and fun colors, but not as great as the hype indicated. I bought the lemon and the sweet mint balms and was very underwhelmed. There was no taste and the smell was hardly there. The package itself was very cool and fun. Definitely a great idea with that! There are many different flavors/scents available and is very appealing in that sense. Being an organic product is also a plus for those looking for one.

The lemon balm was basic and I couldn't find any lemon in it anywhere. My husband said that he could kind of smell it, so for others it may be more prevelant. There was nothing in the taste or smell of it. The moisturizing wasn't there either. Just did nothing for me or my lips. The sweet mint one at least gave me a cooling sensation when I put it on so I did like that. I gave the lemon one to my two-year-old daughter for her "makeup" bag. I kept the sweet mint balm for a back up in my car in case I forget mine or one of my friends loses theirs. Small enough for a car or purse, but might be too big to keep in your pocket.

This isn't a horrible product, but it's not for me. I need something with more moisturizing ingredients and these products don't have that. It is organic so that is a plus for those who only get organic products. It is the best organic balm I have tried. Also, it is available in a lot of different flavors/scents so you can have a lot of choices if you love this product. Will make a great stocking stuffer or small gift for anyone of any gender or age.
